Afternoon bods, lazy day here, made my bed, put the online order away, and it's cuddle time with the furry one.£71.93/ £180.007

More washing done, ironed and put away
Kitchen and living room tidied, vacuumed and mopped, at last!
OH just come home with a rather nice piece of beef and he's offering to cook it, sounds good to me!8 -
1000000 things done. 10000000 calories eaten. There is such a strong link between my anxiety and food. I've lost 2 stone before, I cam do it again. Roll on back to work and being out of the house more to avoid the fridge!Really need to do a wash tomorrow. For now it's carbonara (pasta is my downfall) and an hour of tv with the kids xx8

Happy anniversary, Mademoiselle.
First day back at job 2 today. As I worked there when only the key worker kids were in, it was actually not very different, despite all the children being in. Lots of catch up being unsuccessfully played. I hope your DS’ first day went well, Round. DD has her school bag packed and is freaking about not knowing the routine / where to go tomorrow - not her first day ever, but her last year!
Flying has happened after work:
bedding stripped, washed, bed remade.
HHI
Money transferred to DD and to her school account for lunches, busses etc etc
Upstairs dusted and vacuumed
ensuite cleaned
dinner cooked and eaten, kitchen tidied and swept.
It felt like more. DH emptied the dw, not sure what else he did all day.

Very helpful meeting with my adviser this morning.
Very nice lunch at the GC with my friend S.
Very successful shopping trip: jeans, trousers, tops, wellies.
Very prompt planting of a rosemary bush and heuchera that fell into my hands at the GC
Very positive phonecall with my boss.
Very tasty veg curry for tea (and Rosie enjoyed some plain boiled rice).
Very enjoyable FB chats with 2 lovely college friends.
Not a bad day8 -
A day of meetings.
First up, uni manager remotely, to discuss proposed plans for me returning to do face to face assessments by October. She has found a room with windows, ordered me a screen, visors for me and the student plus lots of sanitiser and new paper. We talked through the range of resources I use and how I can use them in the safest way, especially bits of paper which I usually pass to the student, they do e.g. a spelling test then pass it back to me. I'd thought of a lot of plastic wallets but apparently the virus lives for longer on plastic than paper. I'd sought advice from other assessors on my professional forum and happily got lots of replies although the lengths some people are going to are beyond my patience and budget e.g. taking each page out of spiral-bound books and laminating them separately. Best practice seems to be to put anything the student will have to write on in a paper envelope 24hrs before the assessment, give it to them, they do the tests then put it back in the envelope for me to unwrap in 24hrs time. Although as one person said, the greatest risk is the background level of Covid itself then whether or not anyone you meet has symptoms. Anyway I've arranged to go to uni later this month (for which I have to fill in a declaration of access form) to retrieve my resources from the current room, be shown the new room and to go through the procedure details with the manager.
Next meeting was in real life in a C0sta (table by open door, I personally watched the staff spray and clean my table, twice, got coffee from the machine after sanitising hands, contactless payment). Met the lady who is needing help in her workplace. She seemed really nice and I felt we got on well, so I will start her sessions on line next week. It's a good amount of work too which is good news.
Came home and wrote up report of what we'd discussed, sent it to her with other documents, booked Teams meeting.
One load washing done, one load through DW.
Not a lot of flying unless you count all that interaction with and discussion about disinfecting resources not to mention numerous squirts of hand gel - that's cleaning isn't it?Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -

Morning WAC
I have a mountain of paid stuff to get through today after having a load dumped on me on Wednesday, I’m off next week so need to get it finished. Words have been had! My break has been booked in since May, now people decide that what they need has to be done now, they couldn’t possibly send it to me sooner so that I could prioritise it appropriately and they can’t possibly wait a week! GrrrAnyway rant over, sorry all, knowing how much I have to do my brain would not let me rest so I’ve got up, made a cuppa and will just crack on.Ooh, best mention flying I suppose.... have kept up with dailies, and I changed the bedding in the spare room yesterday, that counts right?!
have a good day all x7 -
Good morning
I thoughtfully shifted out of the WAC temporarily to give you all some space 😇.
Up and ready earlier than for the past few months for the next phase of life - now there should be just DH left at home every day. He has a tip slot booked for this morning so the car is jam packed, mostly garden rubbish but also DD’s old mattress. Still more to go at a later date. WM loaded for him to switch on when he returns.
Have a good day all x8 -
Morning lovelies, I've come down this morning to a nice tidy kitchen, beef was cooked outside last night and I just did a few new potatoes and leeks, there was space in the DW for the pan that went on overnight and OH emptied it this morning.
Bed made, clothes picked up
Sofa throws in WM overnight, need to dry them now
Hair cut and colour this morning where I'll meet up with a friend
Bin is out and it was quite full so hopefully that is a little less stuff in the house.
Hugs and spoons all round, have a good day, it's the weekend this evening!
