*sneaks back in quietly*
Hello! I have been AWOL a few weeks! I haven't caught up on the thread, so hugs, sticks & spoons in abundance to those that need them, especially Dancemum
I am home alone, on a day off! Yay! DS has started a new job this week (same company, different role - he is off the phones now!), DD2 is back to work today (teacher training day, kids back in tomorrow), DH at work as usual. I should be working, but the mum of the 2 little ones has been furloughed after mat leave, so no work on Wednesdays until maybe October. I quite like it! I have been much busier work wise in August. 2 siblings that I have had since they were babies are back at school this week. They have been such hard work - I don't know how their mum has coped in lockdown!! She told me yesterday that it has been awful and she can't wait for them to get back to school!!
I need to get myself moving! The house is a tip, and the allotment and garden are too!
So far today I have stripped the bed, put on WM, sloshed some bleach down the toilet, taken DD2 to work and had breakfast. Time for a mini list...
Round 1
Check bank accounts and emails
Hang out washing
Clean utility toilet & sink
Empty DW & restack
Wash up
That will do for starters. Have a good day everyone!

Not sure what happened there then. Mutter.
Thank you for all your birthday wishes xx I had a lovely day. This morning I have set up my new IT device and been asking for random music tracks to be played. I'm dressed, my bed is made, birds fed, first load of washing is pegged out, second load is swishing. And I put out a bag of rubbish.
Every little helps

Busy day, but very little flying. Who am I kidding? I think no flying. The long lost delivery arrived as promised (I had been there with a promised time and day before) at 7am on the dot. Now to decide whether to push for some sort of compensation or just sigh and move on.Another busy work day, home, quick dinner (new to me quick and easy recipe which seemed to go down well, plus used a variety of veg from the fridge), DD practice drive supervised to small town and back, shower and now cuppa.
I’m back to school job tomorrow, and not looking forward to it for various reasons. Planning my escape in my head, hopefully by Christmas, I think.7 -
Belated birthday wishes Round 🎂🎉 I'm glad you had a good day
I managed a couple of hours at the allotment, weeding and preparing/tidying. I need to concentrate on one small section at a time so I don't feel overwhelmed, and I can see that I am achieving something. Like a gardening version of dot-to-dotting 😁
I also re-made the bed, so that it wasn't left until bedtime as no-one wants that!
Webinar watched, but I wasn't paying much attention!
Paid stuff tomorrow, although I don't start until 10. I might even take the dog for a longer walk!
Night night everyone!8
