Does the £500 have to be put in in one transfer, or can I do 5 transfers of £100 (cycle it round)?

"You’ll need to pay in a minimum of £500 within the first month and a further £500 in the second month"
Clearly does not have to be specifically £500 in one transfer

I received £50 for opening a metro account using Yorkshire Boy’s referral code and a mystery £50 from someone who must have used my referee code without telling me, thanks though!

You never know how the bank understands it.... Anyone put in smaller amounts a number of times to make up the £500, and actually got the bonus?
  • I received my £50 bonus today. Shocking how bad they handled this.

Not really much to understand,  pay in a minimum of £500, means pay in £500, whether it be £500 in one lump or £1 x 500 deposits.  But then again, this bank fails to understand its own conditions tenfold.

Well we clearly do. If they wanted a single payment they'd have said so in the offer T&Cs. And they didn't.

But think about it for a moment...if it had to be a single payment the offer would preclude all those paid weekly at £499/wk, which must be more than the average UK income.

Strange they've lumped them together, but I suppose it all spends!
    Just waiting for 2 more.
I agree, they shouldn't have lumped it together!

Thought I'd missed out as no credits shown yesterday (and I had sent an online complaint as overdue) but logging in now I see have got one BonusA of £50 dated yesterday, no Bonus B yet though...
