You may want to add Paypal to your list, you can send a Ebay auction you have sold up to 30kg for £10.99 48 hour delivery parcelforce , now while that is a bit more expensive the good thing is you can drop off the parcel at any Post Office so you dont have to wait in all day for a courier you can also have collection for the same price , you print off the labels and barcodes for the package too.
You are also dealing direct with parcelforce so no 3rd parties involved, and it goes straight onto there booking system if you choose to collect and choose a day that suits you
Just done it myself and taking my parcel tomorrow to the post office on the way to work:j

I realise that some members have experienced a few problems with certain
booking agents, but where the price is a circulating around the £6 mark it's
going to be a major price hike to nearly £11 and accept a two day service.
Whilst the post office is a good option for the drop off,I'll be concerned about
the queues and the size of parcel for someone to take in.
The depot drop off with the confirmation email is usually a better one.
Maybe they should try a booking agent charging a fee of around £7 to £8.
Ok I realise they may not be direct however I am confident that they will find
the service they choose acceptable.0 -

After the trouble ive had and others if you read this thread then i think its a good option, being able to drop it off at the local post office rather than hanging around the house all day is also a major plus, you can also choose to have it collected if you want but then you may as well go for the Ebay resellers.
For the odd Ebay parcell i think its good but if you are sending alot then it may not be cost effective.0 -
Sorted everything with MH Direct Couriers, will use them again.0

I've just sold a PS3 ... to SWEDEN! The buyer didn't contact me beforehand, and now I need to find a tracking service to Sweden please. Any ideas who is the best & most reliable one?
Had a quick search on eBay and seen SupaParcels... any good?
SupaParcels
DHL EuroPack service is £43.
I have emailed ParcelWorks to see if they provide a service to there...
Pharos Hercules Standard (insurance upto £500) is £33. Express was £80
ParcelForce Global Priority was £80 (3 days), International Datapost £115 (2 days)
Anybody else I should be looking at?
Thanks!0 -
I would second chance the offer rather than faffing about selling overseas, if you do decide to i hope you are charging the buyer extra for postage0

It was a Buy It Now... so nobody else was able to bid.
The buyer only registered on eBay today!! has zero feedback, but has just paid me the money via PayPal inc the UK postage rate.

Just a note but anyone using this service should check where their' local' po that will accept these parcels is. I booked this service through paypal last night, paid for it and was then told that my nearest depot is over 50 miles away!. Now waiting for a refund and taking to post office tomorrow.0 -

Just had a collection by parcel line for an order I made with eParcelz for a package going to Germany. I had originally booked this for Friday collection and screwed up by not having the package labeled at the crack of dawn (well 9am is the crack of dawn to me!) and courier left before I could get my pc fired up. eParcelz where helpful in contacting the depot to find out if they could call back, but this was a no and I had to rebook for collection today and pay a re-booking fee which I found reasonable. So they get top marks here, especially having experienced shoddy service and comms from home-textiles who failed to correct friday and have given me 2 different tracking numbers for a parcelfarce collection today!Do You Twitter?
Why not follow me and find out what I'm tweeting about!0 -

The PayPal address in Sweden will be unconfirmed and you will not be covered by the seller protection policy. PayPal will steal your money back from you if anything goes wrong here.:mad:0
