I have used Payperdrop in the past and found them to be very good, recently tried Home-Texiles who use parcel force and the service was terrible, driver did not collect on the day I booked him for and the item took over 3 days to deliver so I won't be using them again.

DHL is far more reliable in my area.

Sue at B&G has yet to reply to an email I sent 10/12 pm about updating her terms.I also tried the mobile number and found it to be constantly engaged.
Even the £6 courier deals have stopped.
DHL usually always picks up in the morning for me wheras Parcelforce turns up around 4pm,which is not as good for me.
Maybe I might have to try Parcelforce soon.

UPDATE....09.19 Re.phonecall..A further 200 deals going on today 12/12 around 11.00 am

I booked 4 parcels on a 24 hour service, so they're pretty urgent.
only 3 got picked up on Tuesday 11th, and the other one is still sitting here!
No replies to emails yet... both direct and via eBay.

Do HomeTextiles or wshafi have a phone number? I'd really like to know what is happening with the parcel, as this could lead to my first negative feedback score on eBay!!!!! (me to Home-textiles, and my customer to me!)

EDIT: ALL SORTED !!! ... They got back to me at the end of the day and sorted it all out. I WOULD use them again, I put it down to a hiccup...!

this seems common that these resellers get overwhelmed and the service suffers.
TBH i wouldnt be surprised if the likes of DHL etc increase prices to account holders because of this

Anyone know what MH Direct Couriers are like?

I booked an DHL 24hr service today at 10:10 this morning. The collection is for today. I paid with paypal and their order status is showing 'Waiting for payment'. I have just tried calling them with no success.

Used once, failed to collect on day requested. After chasing, got an email back from them saying DHL's booking service crashed which had a knock on effect on collections. Collected first thing next day though. Will probably use again.

btw.. I don't think your parcel will be collected today. It's a 10am cutoff for same day collections.

Never said that on their website, it even allowed me to pick today as the collection day when I filled out the order form. I will ask for a refund

mh couriers is 10am cutoff rung and checked once. No mention on their website of a cut off though. Came and collected fine, but their prices aren't very good.

I use http://www.p4d.co.uk/ says U.K deliveries from 6.64 plus vat think I sent a moses basket and stand a few weeks back and it cost around £8 sorry cant remember exact dont ofeten send big stuff
