can you guys please advise? applied with Leeds just got declined today due to stupid reason. i sent my permanent card with my application but senior underwriter believe thats not permanent residence card which totally unfair as says on my card permanent residence card,also i do have letter from home office which is clearly says i do have settled status, also known as indefinite leave to remain. im just totally heart broken today after 3 weeks wait can you guys advise if i can challenge to Leeds?

check yourself at Leeds affordability criteria online

They only thing I would say is Leeds are very good at asking for more documents so I'm surprised they didn't come back to you to ask for more proof etc, rather than declining and closing the book as such.

We are on day 15 today....22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)
10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation
23/11 - mortgage offer issued

Our MA just emailed me to say that Leeds rejected our escalation request as the solicitor letter didnt include specific completion dates that we was working to. They said however that if we can get them to confirm dates then it will be forwarded to the escalation team, so I have chased our solicitor for another letter lol
