I applied on 22nd too and I don’t know nothing apart from the morgage declaration I had to sign last Thursday . Wednesday will be 3 weeks, 15 working days so I’m hoping for some news

Our mortgage declaration was signed on the day we applied. And our valuation has already been done. Was yours done as well?

Our mortgage declaration was signed on the day we applied. And our valuation has already been done. Was yours done as well?

Broker hasn’t mentioned anything yet

Does Leeds do everything in random orders? We applied and full hard search was done. According to our broker things have been checked etc and was just waiting for valuation which was done yesterday. We applied 26th Aug, seems a long time to wait for valuation.

Our application went in on the 25th of September and they requested valuation transcript a few days later. Hard searches have been done on our credit file but heard nothing since. Our move in date is 16th November, not confident of making that going by some of the comments. Worried that we wait a while then get declined...what a stress

I'd say that they do, yes. I wonder if they have done your underwriting already - I was under the impression that they don't start that process until the Valuation is confirmed just in case it doesn't meet the expected cost.

My timeline is below - We have had our valuation done (but it took a month) we have only had soft searches, no hard search.

Honestly have no idea. I know I have a hard search on my credit file. Valuation was only done yesterday and we are almost on week 7 now of waiting. Will ring our broker I think on Monday and see what’s going on. According to them we are almost done but from what everyone else is saying we still have weeks to wait. And honestly if it’s going to be a rejection I would rather know now.

Thats the hard bit, there's no set timings. Some people are done and dusted already and others still waiting. Did you get the letter already that says you passed the initial assessment?

I agree on the rejection thing, been living on eggshells for almost 8 weeks and will be absolutely devastated if its just a no!!!

We have just started on this journey. Applied through a broker on 01/10/2020 and got agreement in principal on 5th, plus mortgage offer on 8th when we went to see the broker who said they were taking 5-6 weeks to process at the moment.
