So our MA emailed them to clarify this morning. But we are trying to avoid being put to the back of the queue so our MA has been chasing leeds today and thats when they said if we get a letter from our solicitor then it can escalate the case

I see. Hopefully the solicitor won't be long then. The good part about this is it all sounds very positive when you pass this hurdle.

They've surprisingly sent me a letter already which Ive forwarded on, so ill let you know if it makes a difference or not

atleast theres no further documents they've come back asking for or anything like that. So they seem to be fine with gifted deposit stuff we sent them

We've applied on the 22nd September and still haven't had an update. All we know is that the valuation has been done.
22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)
10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
    12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation
    23/11 - mortgage offer issued
    19/12 - completed

I guess its just formality stuff from the things they've requested from us like a letter from my husbands work confirming his job is safe and the date when I return to work after maternity
