I asked my broker if you go to the back of the underwriter queue after they ask for more info and he said no, there is a queue but not that long

That's not what Leeds have told me direct on 2 separate occasions. :(

me neither. I spoke to Leeds yesterday and they said any new document is a further 15 working days before its looked at.
Natztastic2 whats your timeline so far?

    3/8 DIP agreed
    5/8 Applied for plot
    13/8 Accepted for plot
    19/8 Full application with Leeds
    23/9 Valuation completed and OK
25/9 First questions and soft credit search
29/9 Confirmed answers to LBS direct as my MA couldn't get through  were told it would join 12 day underwriting queue again
01/10 Received letter about initial search through the post dated 25/9
Chased a couple of times since then, was told we would hear something by the 15th, and then when we chased after that (mostly to see if there was any further questions) we were told we wouldn't hear until the 20th.
Ahh that’s frustrating! Yours seems to have been delayed further because the valuation took quite a long time. Hopefully hear soon!
Yeah I agree, it took more than a month to do that. It's just annoying that when they pick up your application they don't deal with as much of it as they can, rather than asking a question to reset their time bracket.

I don't know whether to carry on waiting or pull the plug as I feel like I'm getting nowhere.

Thats definitely the most frustrating part of this. I think if its just 1 or 2 documents outstanding they should just be able to review the case again straight away. Based on your timeline, you seem to be abut 7 days behind me, so I imagine you will hear soon! If you go with another provider youll be back to square 1

Definitely. Would be better if they had a policy to get a document to them within 24 hours and then they would pick it up again straight away. If you can't get it to them in the specified 24 hours you to he back of the queue. I think thats fair.

I hear what you're saying about the other provider, however a colleague of mine got a full decision from Santander in 7 days! Its madness

I have just heard from Leeds, they are querying some outgoings on my partners bank statements and have confirmed they are potentially reducing  the amount they are going to lend us due to this. The payment they are querying will not continue once we move out so I am hoping we can get this sorted. But still this is atleast good news as our case was reviewed after 13 working days instead of 15
  • My solicitor has just told us 5 weeks after they accepted our offer that the sellers solicitor has still not sent them contracts!!!!
Oh well, the Leeds delay doesn't matter now cause the solicitors are taking so long!!
  • haha well they do say moving house is one of the most stressful things in life. Theyre not wrong

I’ve never felt depressed and now i know what it feels like. If anyone wants a taste of depression then buy a house I’d say!
wish it wasn’t corona time either as it’s delayed things 🙊🙊
  • Yeah Covid is making things far worse that what they would be. Just gotta stay positive. As people have said on this thread before, aslong as youve passed the initial check it seems approval is confirmed its just a matter of time
