Is there anyone that is using a gifted deposit and if so what proof of funds was required for this? I have sent them my nans bank statement showing the funds there and also the gifted deposit letter , but nothing to show it’s been sent to my bank account. Will they need this?0

I haven't been asked for anything other than the gifted deposit letter. Our parents haven't even transfered it to us yettoby993_2 said:Is there anyone that is using a gifted deposit and if so what proof of funds was required for this? Ok thank you. I saw someone post on this thread a while ago saying they wanted a bank statement from each side showing the funds leaving and being deposited. Hoping that isn’t the case.becky8690 said:

It took 3 weeks for us from offer to completion which was also stressful. But honestly once you get the keys to your house, you forget everything!tweet86 said:
Well, about 10days later. It all happened so quickly once our offer came in. I think the chain were waiting for the offer before they could suggest a date. Worth it now, we love our houseNatztastic2 said:
Wow a week later? That's good going! 👍tweet86 said:
Completely true. My wait wasn’t as long as yours, we got to 24 working days in the end but exchanged and completed just over a week later. It was worth it in the end.stampystamp said:Hi Guys,
just a little message of encouragement.. I know it seems horrible, our wait was 7 weeks but when you get your offer and eventually you get the keys to your house.. you will forget the wait! Three weeks on from receiving our offer, we completed yesterday! just keep your eye on the goal, it is worth it 😊1 -
I asked my broker if you go to the back of the underwriter queue after they ask for more info and he said no, there is a queue but not that long0

Chased a couple of times since then, was told we would hear something by the 15th, and then when we chased after that (mostly to see if there was any further questions) we were told we wouldn't hear until the 20th.LBS 95% LTV Shared ownership application3/8 DIP agreed

Ahh that’s frustrating! Yours seems to have been delayed further because the valuation took quite a long time. Hopefully hear soon!Natztastic2 said:
