Any Recent Leeds Building Society applicants?

mmm we'll see. Its only an explanation theyve asked for, rather than additional documents. I really dont want to wait another 3 weeks just for them to review an email we have sent. The woman at leeds i spoke to this morning said escalations are possible but only under certain circumstances and an approaching completion date was not one of them. So who knows what to believe

Our broker said today that he has it confirmed in an email from Leeds that a solicitor letter will be enough to escalate a case so he is just waiting for an update now from the leeds BDM

I sucks even more that it has gone up to 15 working days now, which is a whole 3 weeks wait. 
Good luck with the BDM to get it escalated.

Apparently they can (I have seen other cases that have been escalated to a Leeds BDM) but most of the time it's not really come to much good (can only go by what I've read in other cases)

Reading back through this thread, it seems that once the underwriters come back to you for the second time and its only minimal info required, they seem to accept a few days later? I haven't seen many cases where they request additional info twice and its the full 12-15 working days each time

I had to wait almost a full two weeks both times.. so don’t hold your breath!

Nope, neither of us have just yet. We have had the soft initial search at AIP stage and then the one we had 2/3 weeks ago which was another soft search. Bizarre, I know.

Very strange indeed. There must be a special department phone number for you to ring and ask.
