Any Recent Leeds Building Society applicants?

@stampystamp my solicitor told me she gets the offer on the day its issued from leeds. So will just be waiting for me to sign and send back.

It’s just a waiting game. Not happy about it but have to try and enjoy the bank holiday weekend.

@carlyfluck it still says 10 working days on the service status website and it has been updated today?!?! What is going on????

Ooh wow 13 days! Really!?! 😫 

I just checked website and yeah it’s still stating 10 days so I have no idea what’s going on! 

I emailed my broker asking for an update all I got I will try and do it! So annoying! 

I hope it isn’t 13 days  

I think they have different queues for different cases too, so self employed and employed etc not to sure how it works 

I have submitted my August pay slip which they requested but no idea if that’s it or if they going to request more documents. They have lots already so I can’t even think of what it could be if they do ask as I think on my opinion they have everything I could possible give them lol but I hate the wait! X

Sooooooo out of the blue I have just received another email from my mortgage advisor saying MORTGAGE HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!😬😬😬😬 
I really was not expecting anything after their previous email this morning! 

OMG!!!!!!

So had a call from our broker saying LBS were about to issue the mortgage when one of the underwriters realised that our bank statement didn’t show the money that was gifted from mum and dad, even though they have the copy of mums statement showing it leaving their account going to ours😡. MA says that this should have been picked up earlier in the process so he’s trying to get them to push it through as it’s their mistake. Applied for mortgage on the 15th July so really don’t want to have to go back to the back of the queue again.

Time as follows
First time buyer- Shared ownership-
 13/7 DIP Leeds- soft search-
 20/7 told we got house-
21/7 instructed solicitor-
27/7 sales memo and full application-
 30/7 hard search-
 3/8 mortgage declaration sent-
6/8 told valuation complete
13/08 questions from underwriters 
17/08 letter to say initial assessment completed.
20/8 Broker says it will be another week until more communication from Leeds.
27/08 Mortgage approved!

the questions that were asked were about a couple of standing orders that go out and where a large sum of money came from (refunded holiday)
I never sent proof for any of it.
