    That really sucks! It really does make me wonder how they order things. X
    First time buyer- Shared ownership- 13/7 DIP Leeds- soft search- 20/7 told we got house-21/7 instructed solicitor- 27/7 sales memo and full application- 30/7 hard search- 3/8 mortgage declaration sent- 6/8 told valuation complete
    13/08 questions from underwriters 
    17/08 letter to say initial assessment completed.
    20/8 Broker says it will be another week until more communication from Leeds.
    27/08 Mortgage approved

    Timeline was a bit unusual - actually applied in March and passed all the underwriting then, but due to furlough and the long wait for the EWS1 form my employment restart and valuation wasn’t approved until 20th August, and my offer letter was dated the 27th, so exactly a week.

    Does anyone know if Leeds underwriters are working weekends at the moment due to backlog and demand? X

    @hollybryan2013 possible as when I phoned them yesterday they said I might hear on the 7th. Which would work out to be 10days including weekends. Cant imagine them working weekends though.
