I got told about my offer via broker, there was no email from Leeds themselves so I'm assuming the offer will come in the post.

The acceptance form is not online, it needs to be posted back to Leeds.  Your broker should be able to email you the offer letter in pdf but my full copy of the offer letter arrived in the post the next day.

Update....there is no update as Leeds have now pushed their service back to 13 days!!! Mortgage advisor has now said hopefully next week!🙄😡

OMG - @carlyfluck at this rate I'm lose the house. I'm expecting an update today but guessing I'm going to get the same answer as we both put in at the same day. Arhh

It’s crazy! I said I’m really worried that after all this time and money spent they are not going to offer. They’ve tried to reassure me that nothing in their correspondence suggests they won’t but can’t help but worry. I’ve updated estate agent. It’s the least I can do, and just keep waiting.

What. The... this is not on. So this means that I won’t hear til the 14th September!! We are supposed to be exchanging contracts on the 16th!!!

@carlyfluck spending money on a solicitor without knowing is worrying me.

@King_hins yep, same for me. I’ve spent £400 on searches which I will not get back if this doesn’t happen. I know in the grand scheme of things £400 isn’t a lot of money but currently it is to Me.

I’ve contacted my broker to ask if there is anyway she can try and get my case escalated. I know it’s a long shot and there’s probably not anything she can do but obviously when you get your offer you still have to send it back and that also takes at least 7 days to process. I don’t think two days before we are due to exchange contracts is going to be enough time. And they could even come back asking for more stuff yet???

I’m sure they would push your exchange date back. They must no there are delays as it’s effecting most people.
