Sorry for the multiple messages. I asked a legal expert online if they could go to CC without notifying me and their answer was
They can no longer serve or obtain judgement without you knowing........ so I am not sure why you are saying they can.

It is in their eyes , yes , but a judge may think different if you follow our advice
You can and should ignore the debt collectors , but not the parking company
The parking company obtained the RK name and address from the DVLA and sent the PCN,s there , that is the correct procedure and they will tell the judge that. It's not about if they arrived or not , it's did they follow the correct procedures , which it seems they did
It is you that failed to implement the correct procedures with your V5C and they will tell the judge that your error is your fault
We are telling you to rectify this by sending the DPO a data rectification notice , but you are not listening , which may cost you dearly
You have been told what to do , if you don't it's your wallet or purse at stake
Name the parking company3 -

Except that... they can get a Default Judgment against you without your knowledge. That Judgment can also be undone, but that costs a fee and a not insignificant bit of effort. This happens time and time again. Just search this forum using those two bold words.
You asked for opinions.
You got opinions - nothing more.
Now you need to decide which course to follow.3 -
If it wasn't possible , then why are there so many people coming here with CCJ,s due to the court claims going to their old address ?
If it wasn't possible , there would be zero people having that problem !!! Ie. None !!3 -

Redx - I dont know the answer to that. I only know that it is limiting on getting legal advice etc. For me, I find it disgraceful that you can be chased for something you didnt know about which I had no control over, that is what I am saying0

Read the zzps letter , it will tell you who hired them , it will also say on any other paperwork and on the signs at the location
I told you earlier that if these were official ones for speeding etc it could have been worse for you
The error is yours due to not updating your log book promptly , it's your legal obligation as keeper , that is what we are on about , you are treating it as if it's a minor issue , it's definitely not a defence in court
It's called fail to prepare , prepare to fail1 -

I don't have any paperwork, I asked them for copies to my email but they never responded. All correspondence has been through emails. they contacted me by text which is when I found out about the fines.
Is it better for me to arrange to pay them then do you think at x a month - the unfairness to me is I moved and didnt know... irrespective.
I find that unlawful that companies can do this. Its daylight robbery so mine now total around 1000.
thanks for the advice by the way - I hate injustice.
How can you change your address when the country is in lockdown!!0 -
You do it online , same as many other services
Plus the postal service has been operating throughout the lockdown
If it's unlawful , please tell us which law they have broken ?1
