On 3rd August I posted a link and quotes re St. Lukes website:-

I did this for two reasons:-

    1) it seems to me that the car park is nothing to do with St. Lukes  -  they are nowhere near the site  -  it just happens that the ppc make a donation to St. Lukes from the car park charges.

I would equate it to the same sort of scheme that I am in when shopping online called "Give As You Live" where goods and services provided by retailers - also in the scheme - make a % of my invoice as a donation to my chosen charity.

I think it would be unfair to involve the charity if I make a mistake i.e. order and pay for a fridge when in fact I wanted a fridge freezer. Unless the Council also make donations to St. Lukes they lose out  -  contrary to my situation where at least I paid the appropriate retailer.

    2) I thought it amusing to see the word "ethical" in the same sentence as a ppc.

Anyway that is how I interpret the situation.

It was from the fundraiser but I am going to leave it there. I just need to concentrate on fighting my charges.
