    But one needs to supply a Surname and Postcode to confirm one is the 'intended recipient'.
    @KeithP
    It was minimal info on the council site... did not give that info (I assume you refer to postcode for cavendish street)
    I think @KeithP is referring to being able to view the letter from QDRS. In other words it looks more like a fishing exercise to try and find someone to chase. If not then I don't see this as a lawful means of serving a document.

    Indeed he is.  ;)

    There is no way anyone, other than the intended recipient, can read whatever it is you have provided a link to, without knowing your surname and your postcode.

    No, that does not mean you should post that information. Don't do that.
  • Okay. I just copied and pasted their text.
    I have not gone onto the link, I have completed ignored them. They have sent this text twice and called me once - I put the phone down.

    Sorry had to read replies a few times - was confused. I didn't mean for people to read it...my bad !

    @DoaM ,@KeithP
    Its a disgusting way to contact people but they are just trying to make a few quid that costs them no quid!
    I won't be clicking any link. ZZPS did not have my address so I gather they have passed the case to QDRS to try and so they don't have my address as I was very late giving it to  Bank Parking (only did recently on advice from forum as they did not have it either) - long story.

    yes, plan A is a landowner cancellation , talk to the organ grinder , not the monkey !!! :)
  • So, I think there may be some issue with the council telling me whether Bank has gained planning permission for signage.  They have to protect others under FOI if it gives out personal information (Data protection) which it would.  I am not sure therefore if I can find out whether Bank requested permission for new signs going up (so not able to clarify certain signage that was not there against my case other than possibly colleagues if they remember - not sure if this is admissible evidence?
    I am sure you will put me right if I have this wrong?

    I shall contact St Luke's also re above posts.

    To find the landowner, you can ask the council who pays the non-domestic business rates. Sometimes they have this information on a spreadsheet.
    The definitive method is to pay a few quid to obtain a copy of the Land Registry. If a specific location address cannot be found, then you may have to print a map, draw round the boundary, then submit that. It costs a few quid more as it means the personnel will have to do a manual search.

    Information in the public domain is not restricted. There is no reason why the planning department can't or won't tell you whether it exists or not.
    You can usually search the planning department's website to see if any planning applications have been made, contested, or approved, and you can comment on any application before it is granted.

    If you submitted an application for a new structure or signs to be put on your property, anyone else could look at it and comment or object.
    Likewise if your neighbour did the same, you would have the opportunity to view, comment, or object.

    Advertising consent is covered by the Town and Country Planning Act.

    If it helps  -  quotes from above St Lukes website (14.1.2019):-

    "New Bank Park site extends support for St Luke’s

    CAR parking company Bank Park provides an ethical solution to parking in Sheffield’s busy centre, giving new life to unwanted sites, re-generating buildings and encouraging new life into the city.

    And as it launches a new car parking site in Cavendish Street it is also continuing its support for St Luke’s."
