It's almost like there has been a stampede of people desperate for a bung.

ahem... I mean 'desperate for a new current account'  ;)

Oh absolutely, and I used to dabble extensively myself when I had more time on my hands... But for now I'll just settle for my £10 in Natwest rewards and £15ish in Santander cashback every month.

One door closes (Halifax) and another one opens (Lloyds)  :)
  • Anyone else still waiting for their switch reward?  my switch started on the 21st August and completed on the 2nd September and I still haven't got the £100.  They said I need to wait 30 days before asking for assistance with it, just curious if others are in the same boat...friends and family that did the switch were paid the £100 within days and they started theirs days after me.

Have you ever had a switch incentive from Halifax before?

I've never banked with Halifax before so nope.  I had a chat with them on the phone last week and they confirmed I was eligible and that it said I was credited on the 26th August.  Her manager said even though it says I was credited it can still take a lot longer and to contact them again once 30 days has passed.  Strange!  Hopefully gets sorted when I call again on the 21st.
