Can you downgrade an Ultimate Reward to a normal Reward if you already have a normal Reward?

Probably best not to read the hotukdeals post, there's more AskJeeves type questions on there than here.

This might help people - assuming you fit into the April 2018 above.

  • So what’s to stop someone opening an ultimate reward account if they already have the other one and then switching it straight out after getting the bonus ? Or downgrading it ?

Nothing I would guess.  At worse you may have to pay one month fee?

I already have a Reward account.
Can I open another reward account and do the switch?
I am sure the last switch payment I had was before 2018.
Also once switching payment is received and I decide to close account is it possible or is it fixed for 12 months?
    Thanks
