I booked a holiday to Mallorca 3 weeks ago when the travel advice was fine and now it has changed to I must isolate for 14 days but has not advised against travelling to the balearic islands, does anyone know if there is any chance i will get some of my money back through insurance or being booked on a credit card etc. ?0

Indeed it isnt, given they are going with Easyjetmattyprice4004 said:
No, you either go and quarantine or forfeit the cost of the flights.ascok said:Where do we stand if we have checked in online for our flights for next month (easyJet) but we can’t isolate as we now have to, can we get a flight refund does anyone know ?
It’s not Jet2’s problem

Budget airline EasyJet said it was "disappointed" and would operate a full schedule in the coming days.
"Customers who no longer wish to travel can transfer their flights without a change fee or receive a voucher for the value of the booking," the company said in a statement.

Have you booked a package or separate elements and more importantly who with because that on its own can cause issuesmkcast said:I booked a holiday to Mallorca 3 weeks ago when the travel advice was fine and now it has changed to I must isolate for 14 days but has not advised against travelling to the balearic islands, does anyone know if there is any chance i will get some of my money back through insurance or being booked on a credit card etc. ?0 -
Dammed if you don't dammed if you do. People simply need to learn to accept responsibility for their own decisions. Always a risk. The first wave hasn't actually finished.............cookster said:What a shambles this government are!7 -
I think he was on about the fact the FCO havent advised against travel to the Canaries and Balerics yet they still expect people to quarantine coming back from there. A shambles of a decision which has major insurance implications.Thrugelmir said:
