Within seconds of me getting the BBC notification people had tweeted TUI and Jet2, asking if their holidays were cancelled. Government hasnt even officially announced it yet for crying out loud.Mrsn said:Bradders you read my mind was going to post this... call centres are going to be even harder to get in contact with now.1 -
Probably not (unless you booked and had insurance before March).ascok said:Where do we stand if we have checked in online for our flights for next month (easyJet) but we can’t isolate as we now have to, can we get a flight refund does anyone know ?
whats stopping you isolating?1 -
Really need the FCO to change there advice on Spain and then travel insurance kicks in0

It would make sense. Why would we want people travelling there? However I don’t believe travel ins will cover loss of income for people already out there and not covered by sick pay.cambb said:Really need the FCO to change there advice on Spain and then travel insurance kicks in0 -
Think of the poor folk due to fly tomorrow/Monday before any update comes through, theoretically still good to go yet stuck with the risk of flying out (when none of travel company offices are open) and facing a 2 week quarantine on return that will only be announced when they are away.

Does anybody know if my son comes home tomorrow from Spain does the whole family have to quarantine?0

Quarantine isn’t a Massive issue for anyone retired, unemployed, furloughed, can work from home or get sick pay is if? If I was retired I wouldn’t worry.1

No just him. But again i havent heard any case of it actually being enforced.cambb said:Does anybody know if my son comes home tomorrow from Spain does the whole family have to quarantine?1 -
