Mine literally says I'm going back to full time on x date, my wage will be my contract wage of x and to phone my finance director if they have any queries, with his number on it. It's printed on headed paper and he's signed it.LZRBOI said:
Ah great thanks! I will get my boss to conjure a PDF up for me just in case I am asked for one. I have been back from Furlough for over a month now so hopefully they won't ask but you never know.lisatops said:
It was a pdf letter on letterhead from my awesome HR person. Just confirms date I went back and that I’m restored to full contractual pay, although my employer has paid me full wage all the way through. My broker submitted it as soon as they asked and flagged it to the BDM who has then escalated as we are over exchange of contracts date.LZRBOI said:
Congratulations! How was your furlough letter formatted. Was it hand written and signed or was it just a pdf or email etc. Thanks in advancelisatops said:

Can I ask you if you've applied yourself or you use mortgage advisor?WinterInRome said:
Jeeeeez! 😳 How has it managed to get to 47! I’ve told myself I’m going to wait for the 44days, that they’ve told me, then I’m going to start putting the pressure on, for a same day answer.winogronek said:

I’m currently on working day 36 and have been told to expect it to go up to 44 working days.cii4ps said:
I feel like that can’t be true. 20 wd is one month. That’d mean at minimum a mortgage offer can take 2 months (40wd) and for some significantly longer (valuations).winogronek said:I have some bad news for all those who applied for a Nationwide mortgage. I've spoken to my mortgage advisor yesterday and he said that it currently takes them about 20 working days ( it's nearly a month if you add weekends) to assess any documents you submit so if you were asked for some additional documents recently, you are in for a long wait. Good luck
when I last rung, the lady I got through to said she could have assessed my recent documents there and then but she wasn’t qualified. So they obviously can do it quickly, when they want to!0 -
Yes, just get them to do one, make sure it’s signed too, err on the side of caution 🤓LZRBOI said:

I’ve used a mortgage advisor, problem was my solicitor was getting pressured for an answer from the sales team of the development and the MA doesn’t seem to rush. So I took it into my own hands, to get an answer for the solicitor, so we didn’t lose out on this house!winogronek said:

So our timeline so far:
Submitted application 11/08
Valuation booked 18/08
Valuation Rebooked 30/08
Valuation Rebooked again! 27/08
Text to say valuation recieved 27/08
Hadn't heard anything until today and my MB says we passed full assessment last week (though we weren't told by MB or NW until I called this morning) and should have an answer by the end of the week.
Is passing full assessment a good thing? I want an answer, but only if its an offer!
Day 36 now and definitely feeling my stress levels rising!0 -
They're working from home. Maybe I was just lucky with someone working late.LZRBOI said:
