Same here, I submitted bank statement at the end of July and it was rejected in September after they had it for over a month. Honestly, how long does it take to check a few pages?WinterInRome said:
My mortgage advisor has just rung me and now said they are questioning my contract as it’s only two pages..... they’ve had it from day one, WHY LEAVE IT TILL NOW!!! This is honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had, never been so angry 😭xMeganCL said:Phoned again today, they said that my last lot of documents are still being assessed and that they'll be assessed by close of play on Friday 25th September 🙄🙄
25th September will be 33 working days for me... absolute farce0 -
I'm going through the same thing right now. It seems Nationwide got underwhelmed. At this rate our application is going to take over 60 days or more to be processed. Completely gutted.xMeganCL said:Phoned again today, they said that my last lot of documents are still being assessed and that they'll be assessed by close of play on Friday 25th September 🙄🙄

So after this, they then asked for my recent transactions to prove my work pay was actually going into my bank.... crazy, I know... because I bank with nationwide themselves! They actually just verified it through my account with them and had an offer Issued 10 minutes later! 🎉winogronek said:

I think she meant completion date rather than closing date to be honest, but the date that the sale has to be done by.bec820 said:

How long after the valuation took place did you guys receive confirmation? Ours supposedly took place yesterday but no idea whether it did in the end or not. Or should I contact the estate agent to see if it went ahead?0
