  • Hi,
    So our timeline so far:

    Valuation booked 18/08
    Valuation Rebooked 30/08

Hadn't heard anything until today and my MB says we passed full assessment last week (though we weren't told by MB or NW until I called this morning) and should have an answer by the end of the week.
Is passing full assessment a good thing?  I want an answer, but only if its an offer!
Day 36 now and definitely feeling my stress levels rising!
They go by working days, so unfortunately you're only on day 24 😂 it's ridiculous.

First time I used web chat, only needed postcode and D.O.B and joint applications details, when I used it the second time they wanted, how much I was asking to borrow, for how many years and what deposit I was going to put down.

    Nationwide application- FTB, 85% LTV

    Application Received 27/7
    Valuation booking text received 4/8
    Hard search on 6/8
    Valuation took place on 19/8
    Valuation report received 26/8

  • I'm a FTB 85% LTV and applied online myself - timeline as below:

    *18/08 - Full application
    *18/08 - DIP: Refer
    *19/08 - DIP: Accept
    *19/08 - Documents requested
    *19/08 - Valuation booked for 14/09
*21/08 - Documents received and awaiting approval
*14/09 - Valuation report received and awaiting review

I rang today and spoke to support on the phone. She informed today that the "vetting process" had taken place on 10/09 and was all OK; and that it can take up to 8 working days from this to hear back. I'm not exactly sure what this means as I haven't seen any hard credit searches on Clearsore/Experian/CreditKarma or had any other communication aside from the valuation being carried out on Monday 14th Sept - I am hoping they don't request more documents then and send me to the back of the pile!

  • Just had a text through to say that the valuation is now booked for tomorrow instead of yesterday. So frustrating when they keep pushing these things back.

That's a third party not the NW.
  • Phoned again today, they said that my last lot of documents are still being assessed and that they'll be assessed by close of play on Friday 25th September 🙄🙄
25th September will be 33 working days for me... absolute farce

My mortgage advisor has just rung me and now said they are questioning my contract as it’s only two pages..... they’ve had it from day one, WHY LEAVE IT TILL NOW!!! This is honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had, never been so angry 😭
