How long have people generally been waiting for the valuation report to be approved. Also will nationwide inform us of how much the property has been valued at or will it be a simple yes/no.
We waited 5 working days for our valuation report to get approved. Had a text saying they had received it, then a couple minutes later saying it had been approved.

    Nationwide application- FTB, 85% LTV

    Application Received 27/7
    Valuation booking text received 4/8
    Hard search on 6/8
    Valuation took place on 19/8
    Valuation report received 26/8
    Valuation approved 26/8
    Request for more documents 3/9
    Requested more documents 16/9
    Mortgage offer issued 16/9

Thanks for letting me know. We just got our datd through yesterday after application and were wondering how long it would take. Although things appear to be slow its reassuring to see other getting through the process. Hopefully it won't be much longer for your offer.

I had my valuation approved text 3 days after valuation had taken place.. so 10th (valuation) and 13th (text stating) they asked for another document on this day.. and I’m still waiting to hear back from them!!! According to timescales, yesterday was the deadline... still no news 😳

Sounds a nightmare. Hopefully you hear something soon. What type of additional documents have been requested? We uploaded everything yesterda through our broker. Im hoping were relatively straightforward applicants as weve both been working throughout this with no changes to salary ect. Hoping for a smooth ride haha

Ahh it sounds so frustrating! Yeah my partner is also a nurse. Maybe wont be as simple just depends on what they want to see. Fingers crossed youve got your offer by the weekend.

I think it all just takes time as they’re lending out a lot of money (so I keep telling myself).. but hey, in a years time, we’ll all look back and this will be a distant memory! Good luck 😊

Mortgage advisor sent them over my August payslip today that they requested. And the wait begins again...
    Nationwide mortgage application (FTB)
Offer accepted on flat - 7/8
    DIP - 10/8
    Full application - 10/8
    Valuation Booked - 11/8
    Valuation received/approved -17/8
    Hard search (Equifax) - 20/8
    Offer received - 28/9

  • Just a quick update - vendors have been really pushy with me providing updates on the mortgage. So I called Nationwide asking for an update as the valuation report was received by them on 9th August and still not approved. The call handler apologised and couldn't tell me why it wasn't approved yet as it should have been 'some time ago' - it's now being escalated to their manager and I should receive an update by close of business tomorrow. I felt bad phoning up given how busy they are, but it can pay to chase it up I guess...

My report was conducted and received by NW on the same day, this is now working day 6 waiting to hear if it's been approved. Asked my MB if there was an update, but was just given the 9 working day timeframe
