Im going for an 85% LTV.
On working day 10 at the moment. Was kind of hoping to hear this week seen as they've already approved my valuation but it seems like they're just getting further and further behind. Can chase on Friday if they don't bump up their timescales again.

No sorry I can’t help with that but I see your valuation was desktop. Did anyone mention why that was? I’m trying to figure out why some have physical and some desktop. Seems to be no hard and fast rule!
  • On working day 23. Getting super stressed now. Hopefully hear something soon, I’ve had no hard searches done at all only soft ones

Same here. I was surprised mine went to physical valuation, the house is a standard 3-bed semi from the late 1990s and paying pretty close to the Zoopla estimate, and just under the average for the street (as the inside needs a bit of refreshing). Must be because of the 90% LTV, being a first time buyer and the state of the economy they want to be doubly sure it's worth it?

Might be worth getting your broker to call for an update, or call NW direct if you didn't use one. Have you heard anything about a valuation? I had my underwriting done up front but that was at around 17 working days and my broker updated me a couple of times just to say that we were in the queue for underwriting.

My broker has called numerous time’s and they just keep saying it will be the next couple of days and then nothing. Yeah we had our valuation on 13/08 they told my broker it was all fine, but still waiting on the actual offer.
