Debt was £15,903 😬 Now £2718.14 £0 😲🥳0

Hi, longtime stalker of the thread and thought I'd add my timeline incase it helps anyone.
Applied direct to Nationwide
DIP: 9/5
Offer accepted: 9/5
Full application: 23/5 (earliest appointment with adviser we could get)
Valuation booked: 23/5
Valuation report received: 23/5
Update from adviser via email: 4/6 - still not processed
Rang NW - still not processed but they have deadline of 15/6 to do something
Thing that is worrying me, is we offered 31k over asking price but this is genuinely what the houses are going for in the area and we think the estate agent is trying to avoid the down valuation by pricing low knowing it will go in a day at a higher price. Really just want to know if the valuation will go though but they can't tell me that yet.0 -

Last bit of timeline was 'Rang NW' was today 9/6
Second time house buyers after selling ours in December and living with parents waiting for the perfect house. 85% LTV both myself and wife with excellent credit history with well paid public sector jobs. Have few things on credit like cars etc but nothing out of the ordinary and manageable with new mortgage. 50k under max amount on DIP.
How quick did everyone receive the acceptance of the valuation? So annoying not knowing, especially when they received the report on day one of the application.0 -

I’m fed up of Nationwide just like everyone else, submitted our application on 23 April and the valuation was carried out quickly on 4 May without any problems.Proof of deposit document is what is slowing us down. They asked 2 very simple questions on our documents that they could have answered themselves which I answered 10 working days ago to be told it would go on to the underwriter for decision within 10 days. Rang today for an update to be told that earlier today it has now gone back to their internal team to review the answer and will take another 10 working days! So that’s 20 days to review an answer to a question. I will be filing a complaint.0

Morning all, what a journey, eh?
We are struggling with the ridiculous turn around times, posting our timeline in case it helps others.
04/05 - Mortgage application submitted and received - we did it ourselves, online.
04/05 - Documents supplied
05/05 - Valuation booked for 10/05
11/05 - Valuation report accepted
11/05 - Valuation approved and comment added that there is no need to bring in a professional to look at the trees (comment on the Home Buyers Report)
11/05 - Required sort code information from Skipton
11/05 - Replied to inform them that Skipton don't have sort codes as they're a building society (just like NW). Resubmitted LISA statements
22/05 - Request for us to confirm why the statements had more money in them. Replied to tell them it's because we had added more money in them.
24/05 - Called and asked them to escalate as it was going round in circles
25/05 - Case escalated and financials approved. Passed back into the queue for someone to approve the valuation (again apparently)
31/05 - Called for an update. Informed that we should hear back on or before 10/06
And then it was now. Eagerly awaiting a notification. From what I can gather, we are waiting for someone to tick a couple of boxes and send out the offer, but I'm waiting for something else to go wrong!
Worried about becoming the blocker in the process, hopefully will hear today.0 -

What stupid questions they ask. Why does the account have more money in? Because usually people don't stop saving once the application had gone in. I had one query what SSP top up was on my payslip from when i had covid. Really??My timeline is as follows:

10/06 - I called to confirm they are not waiting for anything further from us. Told the deadline for an update is 16/05 now.0 -
