Were having a bit of an up and down experience with nationwide
    01/4 full application
    01/4 valuation booked for 7/4
    All documents supplied and confirmed
6/4 Dip Declined due to requiring an extra payslip which has been provided, told it would not effect valuation being done on 7th
14/4 hard credit checks on report
19/4 back on to dip subjective accept

still waiting for any info of whether the valuation has been accepted or even done etc. Not recieved any additional texts messages since the valuation has been arranged text message

Its been nearly 7 weeks since out offer was accepted now so getting a little anxious about getting this signed off
  • Hello everyone,

Just wanted to see if our timescale was normal:

We are in the process of purchasing a house with a LTV of 80%, the deposit is £55K and the mortgage would be £220K

    28/03 - Full application sent
28/03 - Soft search for DIP for Nationwide - Credit Karma
29/03 - Text from Nationwide to say application received
06/04 - Text from Nationwide to say valuation booked for 08/04
10/04 - Hard search carried out - Credit Karma
16/04 - Text from Nationwide to say valuation report has now been received

We are now waiting to hear if the valuation has been accepted. To date it's been 17working days from Application received date to today (25.04.2022 - Also not taking into account the 2 bank holidays) I don't want our seller getting cold feet about selling to us, their estate agent rang me Friday last week to see if I had heard anything back about the valuation report, to which I advised I hadn't and hoped it would be this week, I've read it can take around 5 working days to hear anything back on the report once they've received it.

That seems to be the norm with Nationwide, going over their own agreed service times. For me I got a text to say valuation report received on the same day the valuation was done. Then radio silence. Had to escalate and raise a complaint before they finally issued the mortgage offer. Applied on the 10th of March and offer only received today 25th of April. Took 7 weeks from application to offer. They are beyond ridiculous. Ask for your  case to be escalated. If nothing comes of it raise a complaint.

  • Hello All. Newbie here!!

Did anyone have their AIP refered, then have an offer for the full app? we had our aip refered i thought due to the MA putting my address in wrong so i thought that maybe i failed the ID Checks, but after he had it amended it was still refered.
We had our aip accepted on the 26-4  after it being refered on the 25th. Had a text on 26th  to say our  full app had been received by nationwide but then heard nothing since not even about the valuation? We are first time buyers too.

Hi there, I’m new to this forum too.
we had our DIP referred 16.03 due my husband being SE and I think something to do with credit score. Then it got accepted on 17.03 after our MB spoke to them.
    Full application went on 22.04
we are still waiting for updates.
