    24/01 - DIP (revised for higher mortgage & approved)
    24/01 - Offer accepted and Solicitor Instructed
    25/01 - Mortgage Appointment with Nationwide and Application submitted
    25/01 - Valuation / Survey booked for the 01/02
    27/01 - Request for Additional Statement for Deposit
    01/02 - Confirmation Text / Email to confirm Valuation Received
     
    When I last checked Nationwide say 4 working days after valuation received. Mine was actually 3 days and then it went to offer. Haven't actually got the offer yet, but my mortgage broker has been speaking with them and has requested the offer to be issued. Hopefully your offer will come soon. Good luck!

    My mortgage adviser just emailed me this afternoon to confirm the valuation has been completed and accepted (which I knew it would from the survey anyway) but they just need the documentation to be reviewed and confirmed, so hopefully all will be straight forward.  The people I’m buying from are ready to move now, as the previous buyer dropped out 2 weeks before exchange, so I’m hoping my mortgage offer gets tied up soon so I can use it as an excuse to hurry the Solicitor up!

    Question for those receiving offers, did your offer start from the date you were told you had the offer? Also is it 180 days or 180 working days?
  • Hi all, just wondering how do you check the application status online?

    Our timeline:
    DIP - 20 January
    Appointment with Nationwide MA - 26 January
    Application submitted - 26 January
    Valuation booked for 31 January (received a text)

    But haven't heard anything after the 31st. Most people here seem to have received a text same/next day saying their report has been received so just getting stressed out if something may have gone wrong.

    Also, we applied directly with NW and the only thing they asked for was payslips - no bank statements. Should we be expecting that later in the process?

    We've applied for a Nationwide Helping Hand mortgage, and here is our timeline: 


    6th Jan - DIP

    11th Jan - Full application submitted via MA and received a text from NW. 

    14th Jan - Hard Searches done. 

    24th Jan - Text received to say valuation booked for 31/01/22. 


    No updates since. Eagerly waiting. 

    When did you get a dedicated MA? I don't seem to have one and I'm passed the stage you are at.
    We had a MA from the DIP stage.

    My question is, am I right in assume that providing all things go to plan, our documents should be assessed and the application underwritten by the time the valuation comes round in two weeks? And if so, will we receive an ‘approved pending valuation’ status? Is that a thing with Nationwide?

    An update on this. Still haven't received any text but called NW and they confirmed the valuation has been received and is being reviewed.

    I’m not aware Nationwide do this, I know HSBC do from what I’ve seen online.  

    In theory the answer is yes the majority of your documents could be listed as approved by then but sometimes they assess the valuation which adds to the timescales.  Mines the opposite way round currently the valuation has been accepted but they haven’t reviewed my proof of deposit which was submitted a week ago, so I’m unsure what stage mine is at!

    Application in today direct with Nationwide advisor. Painless application, fingers crossed.
  • Noticed this morning that when I check my application online I get:

    ”There are no active applications associated with this email address” 🤨

    Anyone had this before?

    Hoping this means it’s going to offer, as there is nothing pending on our side!
    Did you get answer to this? I've just had to make an update to my application over the phone and now my application says the same thing. Maybe it just disappears off-line whilst they process something?
