Nationwide Mortgage

Congratulations @Rosco32 !Both had a hard search with Transunion on 31/1 and with Equifax on 1/2
MA has got back to us today as Nationwide are requesting more info. Bank statements going back to beginning of December to now and our 20/21 tax calculations and overviews for our business. Slightly annoyed as I’m aware the MA does have the tax calculations and overviews as they were needed previously when we applied with NatWest.I’m guessing we will now have to wait up to another five days for these documents to be processed!0 -

4th Dec DIP
18th Jan offer accepted on a new build
18th Jan updated DIP as first ran for different figures.Appointment with Nationwide advisor on 4th of Feb.My completion date is the 18th of August so I have to be really careful with my application date but have to exchange by the 15th of March.I’m panicking a bit about overdraft usage and my credit report but trying to put the fear out of my mind for now. I was asked for 3 payslips and gifted deposit form that’s it so far.
oh I’m 21 % LTV FTB, borrowing £1389500 -
I’m playing the waiting game at the moment, Nationwide requested an additional statement as proof of deposit on the 27/01 as the one initially provided only showed from 01/01 to the 25/01 (when I submitted my application), annoying that my mortgage advisor didn’t spot this and tell me beforehand, she just said a current Jan statement! It’s still showing on the online tracker as awaiting approval but my salary / payslip proof has been approved.
My valuation / survey on the property was done yesterday (01/02) and I had a email and text in the afternoon to say it’s been received by Nationwide, it’ll be reviewed and they will be in touch if they need any more information - weird this hasn’t been updated on the live online application tracker though. At least I know there’s no issues with that as I had a survey done too and in that they valued the property at exactly what I’ve put my offer in at
So far my timeline is:
Dec - DIP Approved
24/01 - DIP (revised for higher mortgage & approved)
24/01 - Offer accepted and Solicitor Instructed
25/01 - Mortgage Appointment with Nationwide and Application submitted
25/01 - Valuation / Survey booked for the 01/02
27/01 - Request for Additional Statement for Deposit
01/02 - Confirmation Text / Email to confirm Valuation Received

Ah that's a real pain when you are asked to provide something you've previously provided! I'm lucky my mortgage advisor is so on the ball. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Come back with updates1 -

Has anyone got experience of selecting a new mortgage product if the initial 3 months is not long enough to get the purchase completed?0

Hello, I’m in the same situation as many of you here. I was wondering if anyone has had any update from NW since their valuation?
We've applied for a Nationwide Helping Hand mortgage, and here is our timeline:
6th Jan - DIP
11th Jan - Full application submitted via MA and received a text from NW.
14th Jan - Hard Searches done.
24th Jan - Text received to say valuation booked for 31/01/22.
No updates since. Eagerly waiting.

It’s frustrating further information delays the process, especially as you say, the mortgage advisor should have been aware. We have just had to submit bank statements up to 31/01 but I can only print up to 25/01 as waiting for next statement. My mortgage advisor has said this should be fine but I’m half expecting Nationwide to want up to 31st!1 -

Strange they wanted a full month though seeing as they were not interested in obtaining my bank statements originally, despite their website suggesting if you’re paid monthly you’ll be asked to submit 3 months worth!0
