My mortgage application so far

FTB with H2B and 5% deposit. Applied through a broker

10/11 - DIP approved 
10/11 - Soft search appeared on the credit file
16/11 - Full application submitted along with documents. Confirmation text message and email received from Nationwide.
17/11 - Soft search appeared again on the credit file (subsequent credit search)
17/11 - Received a message from Nationwide confirming the valuation has been booked in for 23/11
19/11 - Update from the broker, document checks completed and application accepted subject to valuation
19/11 - Valuation delayed because the site was closed on the 23rd. Rescheduled valuation for 30/11. Text message and email received from Nationwide confirming the new valuation date
26/11 - Hard search appeared on the credit file

I was expecting the hard search to appear once the valuation is complete. Any reason why it appeared before? Now eagerly waiting for the valuation to go through

You are at the final hurdle mate. Honestly you will get the offer Monday morning. Give NW a nudge again about 0930h.

Still waiting to hear anything after our application was filed by our MA on 16th, not heard anything about a valuation being booked yet. Chased our MA but no update yet. Hate waiting with no news, MA says nothing is showing as outstanding on the portal document-wise ☹️

Mine was after valuation bit before the report was submitted. Mine was down valued so we've submitted our new offer which was agreed a week later they need another statement so its back in the que which is ridiculous

Does anyone know if I've had to submit another document do I go back to the end of que or will they review the information quite quick

We submitted more documents on Tuesday and have been told it’s 6 working days for review. We have a deadline to exchange at the end of the month so it’s super stressful for us at the moment too.

Its really stressful so unfair to go back in the pile. I just don't get why they can't review as it's submitted

Got the offer through post a couple days later.
