Congrats!
Must admit I'm nervous now given we have the exact timeline but no offer yet!0 -
I would hope that if there were any issues that you would know by now. As my MB said, the credit searches will have been done early on in the process. It's more about waiting for your docs to be checked. Your MB should be able to see exactly what they are waiting on. If they call them, like mine did they'll probably sort today.mancdude said:Congrats!

Hey all!Thought I would jump on this thread for abit of advice. We have put our application in with nationwide on Thursday 28th October. Received a text on Monday 3rd November saying the valuation has been booked for 18th November. Which seems really far away to me.We are buying a new build and have a deadline of 8th December to exchange contracts but I am really worried that our mortgage won’t be accepted by then.Does anyone one know if they will do the underwriting before the valuation?0

Thought I'd share my timeline with you all.
21/10 - offer accepted by vendor.
25/10 - mortgage application submitted by broker, after AIP processed.
2/11 - valuation of property conducted by Nationwide. Mortgage offer confirmed a couple of hours later!
I am a FTB so it felt like an anxious wait. I can finally start investing my heart into the property now although there is still a long way to go before exchanging I guess! I am not too sure if any hard or soft credit searches have been done, I don't really log onto those credit websites but I am guessing they must have done one for the offer to come through. Conveyancer is making a start on the searches and other things now, it is a probate sale so there could be delays but it is an exciting time for my family; I wish everyone here the best, Nationwide seem to move quickly which is good.
Will give further updates in due course

Think you will have plenty of time, also reading a lot about deadlines for exchange of contracts as trying to hit my deadline too and looks like as long as things are progressing they hopefully won't be too pushy. You've also got approx 2.5 weeks from the 18th Nov, which should be enough time if no issues arise.amanda2361 said:Hey all!Thought I would jump on this thread for abit of advice. We have put our application in with nationwide on Thursday 28th October. Thank you. I’m a nervous wreck at the minute! The most stressful thing I’ve ever done in my life. FTB and never want to do it again!bhav88 said:

My MA said they won't call them to chase as the docs were last submitted Thursday so want to give them time to check before chasing, apparently. Frustrating!0

Looks like we are at the exact same stage then! Has your valuation been booked yet?mancdude said:My MA said they won't call them to chase as the docs were last submitted Thursday so want to give them time to check before chasing, apparently. Frustrating!0 -
