My valuation was done 29th September and hard search showed up on 1st October

When did offer arrive? 

Edited my orginal post but the offer arrived on 25th October. It had been delayed a couple of times, first for the valuation coming in £2k below my offer price and again because the documents submitted by my MA only showed my current account balance rather than the full statement.

All in all just over a month from application to offer.

Just a quick update on re-mortgage.

Moving from Accord to Nationwide.  I did the application direct and did not use any broker.  Have gone for 3 year at 1.24%.

17/08/2021 - Online application done
17/08/2021 - Credit search done
17/08/2021 - Survey/Valuation was instructed
23/08/2021 - Survey completed
23/08/2021 - Offer issued
30/08/2021 - Mortgage offer accepted and online deed signed

Transfer date confirmed of 1/11/2021.

Does anyone know if nationwide text you to say funds have been released? The last text I got says funds will be released today, so do I just assume they'll automatically go through today?

We’ve got an offer! Finally! 5 weeks from application to offer.

No formal update from Nationwide or the MA. Logged on to the MA portal (L&C) and there was a note asking for two docs. We'd given L&C these particular docs a few weeks ago, so a little frustrated they seemingly hadn't passed these on. Had an email alert today that there's been a hard search via Credit Karma yesterday, hopefully that went well and an offer is en route next....

Flipping hell, you are about in line with me. You'd think they would have done hard checks before this stage. If they reject at this stage it is going to really put our purchase in jeapody. We are purchasing from a builder (part ex property) and they have stated they require exchange within 4 weeks of contract packs being sent. That will be today.

Applied last Tuesday
Valuation was this tuesday (approved) 
Addional proof of savings sent on Tuesday. 
No hard check yet.

Hope it works out for you matey, the waiting is always stressful! Spoke with my MA this morning and he still hasn't sent the docs, asked me for them again! Think it'll take a few days of processing now so not holding my breath for an offer for at least another week or so.
