    A very quick turnaround.
    DIP - 10th Dec - accept
Mortgage application submitted on 10th Dec
Valuation booked in for 12th Dec and received by nationwide same day.
    Mortgage offer on 13th Dec
    So 3 working days 🙂
Wow that's very impressive! I also recieved my offer today too, funnily enough my timeline is very very similar to yours! Good luck! 😀

Nationwide is cutting it's rates. Does anyone have any idea what this means if you have an offer but haven't completed on your purchase yet? Worth a punt at asking Nationwide to adjust it's offer?

EDIT: I rang Nationwide on 03457302010 and spoke to a lovely person (all their call handlers seem to be really helpful!) who re-directed me to the transfers team. They transferred me on to a product with a better rate, saving me £30 month. Result! Definitely worth a punt! It took ten minutes, new offer on it's way in the post, didn't need to go to underwriter.

Glad you had a good outcome. We are waiting to complete with Virgin and they also dropped their rates. I asked the question and they said we'd need to apply again and send new payslips, etc. Very frustrating.

Exciting! When was the valuation done? Ours was done at 09:00 this morning. Every time my phone vibrates, my stomach gets butterflies!

Did you go through a broker for the Intial offer or direct? I went with a broker so I'm wondering if I have to go through them to change it 🤔 I haven't completed yet xx

I applied directly to Nationwide, though I'm sure your broker would be able to move you over! Worth a shot whilst the rates are a smidge lower!
