our time line is-
application 05/11
hard search 15/11
Valuation 16/11
Notification that Valuation report highlighted possible structural issues with the property, to be considered needed a structural engineer report. 26/11
Structural report said no issues with the property, report submitted on -07/12
Notification that report not accepted as it was addressed to my maiden name (the engineer took from my email address instead of what I signed my email), engineer changed the names on report and was resend same day -14/12

Still waiting ☹️

Oh wow how frustrating for you. Maybe you will hear today? Have you called to ask them? They were quite helpful when I have them a call. Hopefully we will find out if the underwriters are happy today and then we have to wait for a valuation.

I just can’t wait for all this to be over! It’s such a stressful process! Here’s hoping we both get good news before the new year, would be a lovely way to start 2021

We’re actually buying the house we currently rent so am hoping that once the mortgage offer’s received we can move things forward as quickly as possible. It’s just a worry that the stamp duty freeze ends in March and any delays could end up costing 😬

Yes I totally agree. It's at the forefront of my mind too. I have just spoken to nationwide and they said the underwriters will be finished with it today so call back tomorrow morning to see if they need anything else. Then we have the valuation part.

So I think we passed the underwriters as a valuation has been booked for Monday. I am starting to feel like it is moving now!

How do you know if it was referred or accepted? We placed ours via a broker on the 19th Dec with hard search on 26/27th for equifax and credit karma.
