37 working days in! I called this morning and spoke to a man who Sounded annoyed I was calling for an update. He advised it was with the underwriting team and they have a task on it. Tasks take 5 days from when they are acknowledged. We last got asked a question on Friday the 25th And replied same day,so coming up to two weeks ago and it sounds like it won’t get looked at for another 5 days.
  • Congrats @nakiwala123, nice to hear you've finally got some good news!

I think I got that guy yesterday. I have spoken to them directly A LOT and he was the first person I had spoken to who was not very friendly or helpful.
I did my AIP and Application 03/09 and they have done the underwriting and just wanted a wet signature for the declaration then they said it will be sent for offer so it appears things are speeding up.
As I said though, I have called them a lot and my broker has been quick to respond and both have really helped move things along.

Yay MA phoned me yesterday to say the application is going to offer, at long, long last!

I'm guessing I'll have to wait another 2 or 3 weeks for the paper copy to turn up on my doorstep.

  • My valuation still hasn't been booked :s
    That's holding things up.

    ooft that brilliant.
Did you get any e-mails or calls beforehand from Platform? And did your MA send you an electronic copy, and if so how long did this take?
  • I have been told that everything is fine and ready to go to offer, they are just waiting for the declaration to be reassessed because they wanted a wet signature. On working day 4 now for that to be reassessed. Very frustrating waiting for someone to quickly look at a signature
  • Has anyone that submitted theirs on 08/09 or later got any further forward than 'awaiting assessment'?
