Congrats!jamjo3108 said:We finally got our mortgage offer on the Friday they said would give us it.So that’s 38 working days all in total. They also contacted my solicitor before my mortgage advisor. In true platform style the amounts to
both MA and solicitor are different so albeit only a couple of hundreds pounds,
that will

Lets see what working day 52 holds.
Tried to phone Platform yesterday, unfortunately I don't have spare hour plus, in the day whilst at work, to be on hold!0 -

Offer letter received 05/10/20 🤗
Our MA uploaded all of our docs on 04/09/20, we have had no requests from Platform for further docs, only communication was to confirm valuation had been booked. We had only rang twice and that was only for a general update to gage where we were. I last called Friday 02/09/20 and was advised they were reviewing applications from 03/09/20, I rang today waited 2 hrs on hold and so worth while as when I got through I was told offer has been sent out. We found the process very smooth, when we spoke to Platform on Friday they went through a checklist of our documents and confirmed everything necessary has been received. It’s worth asking them to confirm they have received everything as our MA was very good in that respect. I hope everyone gets the good news soon!
What type of survey did you go for? We submitted the same day as you and nobody has got back to us about a survey.
Thank you! We just had the normal survey, so if you have paid for a survey maybe the wait times are different. I really think it’s beneficial to check the docs uploaded with the platform checklist of requirements as this will highlight straight away if you can expect there to be queries.

Spoke with them this morning, we have paid for the homebuyers survey so they have said they will be waiting for instruction to conduct it, as there is no refund once it has been done..ES1989 said:Haymorto said:

Update for everyone ekse
They are working on the 4th September, 108 applications as of 9am
We submitted on the 4th, however they have us down as submitting on the 7th for some reason.0 -
Hey, i think i'm going to also be asked about a regular payment going into my account (when they finally get round to my application!) can i ask if the process was straightforward? ie. they just asked what it was and reason for it, and then it was approved? Or did they need to ask whoever who was making the payments for confirmation? Really hoping a query won't push us further back. ThanksDeano89 said:They emailed my MA late yesterday asking for solicitors details (I changed solicitor after submitting the application) & about a regular payment going into my account, hopefully this won't hold things up too much for me 🙏

Also, out of curiosity, has everyone who applied for a Platform mortgage been successful? havent heard much about them declining mortgage applications, just that they're slow which is understandable as i think they're a sought after lender and have a huge backlog. I assume the initial check they do early on to get the decision in principle is a hard check and therefore if theres no cause for concern with your accounts, you're pretty much already approved?!0

I can't speak for everyone else but mine was a hard search on the same day as my DIPLulubelle_1 said:Also, out of curiosity, has everyone who applied for a Platform mortgage been successful? havent heard much about them declining mortgage applications, just that they're slow which is understandable as i think they're a sought after lender and have a huge backlog. Offer has officially been received! What a relief and they kept to their word that it would be issued within 24 hours. Only thing left to do is exchange so hopefully we will be in our first home in a few weeks0
