hi all, new to this thread! I’m a bit confused by Platform to be honest. We submitted through our broker for a DIP which is was agreed on 18th September. We then submitted all of our docs on 24th. I called today to check that valuation for Homebuyer’s report had been instructed to find that it hadn’t been and they will now do this as we didn’t want to waste time.

From reading this thread I assumed that they would look at our application from around 24th October but the person at Platform said I submitted on 18th so I can expect it to be looked at around 18th October. Is this a mistake and I am living in false hope?!

Just called Platform at exactly 9 when they opened, they answered in seconds and confirmed that we've been approved for offer and we should have it today! 9 weeks to the day we submitted the application.

Ooh yes. CONGRATULATIONS! I will call them today too. We should have received ours on Friday but alas, nothing came through.

Yeah, I'm not expecting to receive it until the end of the week and it is being sent to our Broker and she is very slow. Still won't fully believe it until I see it in writing!

Depending on what they say on the phone call, it will determine how long we stay at the premier inn.

When did they confirm that you had been approved for an offer?

Hello,

Thought I'd join in and share my experience with platform so far after reading these horror stories! 
DIP and full application submitted  8/9 and was asked for more recent bank statements on 2/10 which were sent today. If i dont ask my MA to phone them to let them know its been uploaded will i have to wait another 20 odd working days for them to look at it or should it only be a couple of days?

From my experience I would call them direct to ask for the current position and then they will note the further documents that have been received. Every time I have done that they have looked at the docs within 3 working days.

This was 3 weeks ago. They told us it would take up to 14 working days for offer to be sent. Friday 2nd Oct was day 14. It has become a joke really. I feel like we should have just paid the ERC and been done with it by going to another bank. It has been very frustrating.

That's odd as they told me the offer will take up to 24 hours to be received. Wonder why they have told us different things.
