Got an update today from MA - platform queried who would be residing in the property after completion, and about not being registered on the voters roll even though i am (sent him a letter for proof). They had also asked for my solicitors details and to sign and return a direct debit mandate... surely this is positive and i might get my offer soon?
I had the exact same thing RE the voters roll. I personally think it’s a stool tactic as We then went to the bottom of the queue and it took 3 weeks for our file to be reviewed again!

That's awful! Really hope i'm not waiting that long
  • If this is helpful to anyone, our application was submitted 21/09 and been told they are due to look at it 22/10

Has anyone that submitted theirs on 08/09 or later got any further forward than 'awaiting assessment'?
Submitted on the same day and haven't heard anything yet either. From what has been said in this thread it looks like we could hear this week or next. Fingers crossed.
Heard today that ours is now progressing to offer stage (applied 08/09), MA said we could hear this week. Platform queried something our MA advised they would not query, so not exactly sure where we stand.

Oh thats promising. Did they query something then advise it would go to offer? Ours hasn't said anything about offer stage but I'm hoping asking for a signed direct debit mandate is a good sign. Although I'm worried the query might have just set us back another 23 days!
  • Well I spoke too soon @12ch12 - got an email from my broker this afternoon. They had contacted Platform earlier today and I've now been told that they will escalate and look at it in the next five working days. I shouldn't be surprised tbh, but I am a little disappointed. Thankfully this forum is keeping me sane...

  • We keep waiting 5 working days, our latest query was a home number, so been put back into waiting another 5 working days. Submitted 3/9 so getting really tense now with all the waiting.

That’s good new, anything from them is better than nothing at the moment!
I got an email today asking for a document to be signed which we did on the 22/08.. not sure what that’s all about! The waiting game continues.. on the plus side this has developed my patience which I didn’t know I had!  :D
  • Hi all, I hope everyone's bearing up with the waiting game! We submitted on the 11th Sept. This morning spoke to Platform to see where we were at - apparently our file was picked up yesterday and had requested confirmation from our MA to confirm a couple of queries so I rang MA who hadn't checked for any updates/queries! Anyone know from their experience, when Platform ask for additional documents/clarification on queries and to complete the Direct Debit Mandate, is this done at 1st assessment or will it be with the underwriters? After submitting further requested documents have they asked for, have they then asked again for any furthers information/clarification?
