Email all your questions / complaints to - customer@green-homes-grant.service.gov.uk.tek-monkey said:Went on chat again, got told it's in the queue again, can't tell me anything else again.
No sign of the protal to track it, can't tell me where in the process I am, can't tell me how many stages the process has, can't explain how they were meant to have all work done by the end of this month yet still haven't processed the vouchers for those who applied over 4 months ago, yet apparently have taken on more staff in this time. Can't say why others that have applied much later have vouchers, or why those who applied earlier have not.
Basically pointless, wonder how much of our tax money they got for this?
Add your name, address and application number with all contact you have with them.

I did, the reply wording was very similar to the chat wording. Possibly the same cut and paste.Cb_man1 said:

The best advice I can give to anyone is to keep trying, yes the system is broken and yes it is not fit for purpose and yes in some cases it takes an unduly long time to receive a voucher - however as many GHG applicants have proved on here already the onus is on the applicant to push things forward and keep pushing and keep complaining and keep sending email complaints every few days - if you are not happy with the response, until you succeed - I found that continuous email complaints are one of your best tools to move things forward - and yes sadly you really do have to go this far and be determined to succeed, even when obstacles are constantly being put in the way.
Most of us that have been successful - have had to do most, if not all of the above to receive a voucher.
You to will get there in the end - and it will be worth it.
Good luck everyone.

We applied for a Green Homes Grant for air source pump/heating system on the 10th January 2021. We’ve provided all the correct information (this has been confirmed), we’re just waiting for the vouchers to come through now 🙏0

Do keep contacting them, if you're already doing so. Don't just wait.sallyhocking said:We applied for a Green Homes Grant for air source pump/heating system on the 10th January 2021. And you may find that despite them confirming they have all the info they need they may ask for more in due course. They've done that to us twice. Each time after telling us they don't need anything else. And then they decide they do. But they may not bother to tell you. You may only find out if you ask them. So keep asking!1 -
Just to let everyone know after 5 months of torment I got my vouchers after endless phone calls, complaints and frustration. The scaffolders have just turned up, and the works going ahead next week.Don't give up, it is possible! I nearly gave up5

After applying in Oct. and having suppliers pull out of the scheme, I have finally had my first voucher come through took having to escalate to get it done however the secondary measure they are now saying is too expensive! Complete FARCE I have at least 5 quotes (due to all the hassle) and the company I have used is the 2nd cheapest (after the cheapest pulled out the scheme) and yet some magical idiot believes it's too expensive, any idea how to appeal as the door was my main concern as it sits in an arch so costs quite a bit?1

Exactly the same thing happened to me. Applied in Jan this year after eventually finding a local company with the trustmark PAS 2030/2035 certification to do the work. Three weeks ago I rang them asking why I hadn't heard anything. They told me they needed to have proof of ID! I sent this in the form of DL and Passport. Heard nothing. Today rang them and was told they needed proof of ownership of my house; deeds and the land registry certificate etc. One step ahead I told them I had married and the name on the LR certificate was different so also emailed pdf of my marriage cert. Why on earth didn't they ask for this previously. The only people who seem to be benefiting from this farcical scheme are landlord/investors. This scheme is failing ordinary homeowners and installers alike.Afourteen said:I updated my request this morning as the quotes had expired and the installed had confirmed that his quote will remain current. So I had a an auto-response followed by a request for more information confirming my identity and ownership of the property - that is difficult to provide at the present moment as the deeds are in a safe deposit box and due to the lockdown inaccessible.
Why this information couldn't be requested for on the application form I'd like to know.
Think it's just a delaying tactic to frustrate the applications (and save HMG money!).1
