Same here - I’m not sure of the relevance. My quote was for flat roof insulation- the m2 was supplied. If the builder completes it in 10 hours or 50 hours - what does it matter. In all the quotes for building work I’ve had in the past - I’ve never had the number of hours quoted.Frith said:
No number of hours was given by my builder and I don’t really see how that is relevant!0 -
Got that same email too. I know hours it would take and access requirements were definitely missing from the quote.I imagine most people would think it obvious if you are installing an air source heat pump that you need access to electricity and water. As the company isn't charging per hour for their time but rather the job itself then not supplying the hours on the quote seems quite reasonable too.0

Again - I can’t see why they would need to know the access requirements - what relevance is that to the issue of a voucher.ArmsINIT said:I imagine most people would think it obvious if you are installing an air source heat pump that you need access to electricity and water.
Are the goal posts being moved in the hope applicants will give up.

I thought as much. I was quite careful when I submitted my application. I made sure all the questions were answered and the quote had the relevant details that were asked for at that time. I'm not sure whether to now go back to my builder and ask for a quote that meets all the criteria, or wait and see if my original is rejected.mickvc said:mpet They didn't state all their quote requirements at the start. Is it any wonder they've been receiving quotes that don't meet requirements?0 -
I contacted my installer regarding the new quote requirements. He said although his quotes don’t have all that information on, lots of his EWI customers have already had their vouchers! I contacted the scheme to find out why people seem to be able to que jump and they said it’s just the way it is.0

Am having trouble finding any double glazing installers who accept the green homes grant and cover Devon area. Anyone had any success?!!!

Had a text from my (hopeful!) installer to say that new rules on quotes only apply to those submitted from yesterday, and that I don't have to submit mine again. I assume they are right as otherwise they may be losing themselves business!0
