Hi, yes you will need to apply for another voucher - provided your builder is trustmark Registered. 
I had to fill in a second application as the first quote had an error on it - when I emailed GHG they said they could not cancel my first application - however the second application would supersede the first.  They also stated that I would be able to delete my first application when the account goes live online at the end of November !!

Hey, how did you know you had an error in the first application, were you able to check it by calling or emailing them?

The company that gave me the quote - made an error With the costing of the job which I submitted as my first application  - they forgot to add the sidewall costings of the house for Cavity Wall Insulation in the first quote - I was in such a rush to get my quote in that I just submitted it straight away - it was only a few days later I realised the error looking at their quote again.
I  called quote company who sent revised quote - hence the error - so I had to submit their revised second  quote.

They can't (perhaps they might) do that. Quotes always seem to be valid for a month so anyone who applied within the first week would be unable to get the voucher. The longer they wait before issuing the more people fall into that category.

I just can't believe it took them 6 weeks to write that one email.

I hope this works out for you, sweett_2, but I'm not sure that paying a deposit before getting the voucher in hand was necessarily the most prudent course of action. Best of luck.

@sweett_2  Did the proposed installer ask for the deposit or did you give it voluntarily?
If voluntarily - any particular reason why ? As the vouchers are not guaranteed and from past experience it can be a nightmare getting deposits back - Lets hope this won’t be the case for you.

Any one else randomly had this email ? I literally applied at 7am on the morning the scheme opened so it definitely ain’t working on a first come first serves basis.

You will receive a separate voucher for each of the measures that you have applied to install.

You can only begin work once your voucher has been issued. Any work that was started before that date cannot be claimed under the Green Homes Grant Scheme.

You do not need to do anything in response to this email.

Yes, I received the email on Tuesday of this week.  I applied at approximately 7.30am on the morning of the 30th of September.

Had an email from the firm who quoted me for insulation saying that realistically they would only have March to install any external insulation because of weather conditions. Unbelievable that there is only such a short space of time to get the work done. Anyway, I emailed the appropriate department to ask for an extension. Maybe if we put a bit of pressure on them they will extend it.
