An update of my claim. My application has been approved, my installer has confirmed the voucher is valid with the green grant customer services team and I am now going through the process of building work to make the house ready for an air source heat pump.
Something to note, the customer service team said to my installer that there is no possibility of the scheme being extended past march 2021 as it has to come out of the budget for this year. So those hoping for an extension be prepared that it is unlikely to happen.
Thanks, how early did you apply? I was in the first 10 minutes and still got no confirmation email

    Thanks for the update.
I had my inspection visit today. The guy was here for about 20 mins taking measurements and photos of my outside walls and then popped into the loft to check my existing insulation thickness. I asked him what the purpose of the visit was and he said he uses the data collected to put together a rough quote for the work I applied for and if it’s in the ballpark of the quote I submitted then my application will get approved. He said it’s to make sure both the applicants and the government  aren’t being ripped off.
Fingers crossed as I await the decision now.
  • Am eagerly checking my email and all news articles and this forum for any further news on vouchers. I submitted our application on the 2nd Oct so just 2 days after applications opened. No vouchers yet. Anyone else beyond montyrbc with any voucher news?

No chance, not even registered companies can claim the grant unless they are part of trustmark so you can't even use a preferred builder.
  • I applied on the morning of the first day (30/09). Got a reference straight back and nothing since

I applied 27th October. Got a confirmation email almost immediately but nothing since then.

I chased it up this morning and received this:

However just so you know, you will receive an email notifying you when your application is online and available for you to access. This email will provide steps to create unique login credentials. You can expect to see emails allowing self-service access to your online application after 30th November.

So doesn't bode well for a speedy turnaround.
  • I emailed today to find when these vouchers are going to be issued as lots of us have submitted quotes & just awaiting the approval & vouchers. All I got back is they will be issuing them in the upcoming weeks. That is not very useful is it?! We put all the hard work in trying to get this off as quickly as possible then just left in limbo waiting!

I am trying to find an installer for this scheme. One of the companies who I contacted said that they required a non-refundable £70 survey fee before they would give me a quote. Is this normal?
Yes they can ask for a non refundable quote to stop time wasters!
