Applied early in the morning on the 30th of September, received no confirmation email, sent numerous emails over the past month requesting confirmation (including to customer@green-homes-grant.service.gov.uk), and NOW have received confirmation - yes, they definitely have my application!
I feel like celebrating tonight!

It's rubbish. Seems to be good for people with savings or people on benefits. I thought i'd finally be able to get help to replace my 30 yo single glazed windows. Not a primary though and the only primary improvement listed was external insulation estimated cost £9000. Totally out of my reach on my minimum wage earnings.

This grant isn't a grant as far as I can tell! You get a £5K ADVANCE on the energy subsidy (which would otherwise all be spread over 7 years) to reduce the initial cost of installation. Still worth having but not really a "grant" as such. Our Glorious Government are sneaky buggers !
