Applications, or successful applications? As the latter is what I read yesterday, which implied those they actually got around to processing.Zanderman said:And they are still saying that all existing valid applications made before 31st March will be honoured.0 -
The phrase is 'valid applications'. Which implies that if it's a valid application, submitted by 31st March, it will be honoured.tek-monkey said:

Valid meaning, I assume, applications that fit the criteria.
Seems simple enough to me.0 -
It's 270mm if you have none. I had 100mm and got another 200mm via GHG.Zanderman said:soliadam said:I applied for the grant successfully and I have installed loft insulation 200mm and a full new central heating system total cost £5000
And loft insulation should be 270 not 200.kuepper said:

Perhaps soliadam could clarify what it is they had done under GHGS.0 -
They changed the criteria after I submitted, so I submitted more. That was 12 weeks ago, no idea if that met the criteria though.Zanderman said:

Apparently not! Just chased yet again, been told my quote is too high and they need more info. Of course they apologised for not bothering to tell me, apparently they've had that on record since just after my last contact.
EDIT: But they just noticed I provided it back in January! They also confirmed this both by email and on chat, so have no idea why the note left 10 days ago is requesting it and making no reference to it existing.0 -
Sounds like some companies are using the imminent end of the scheme to try and pull a fast one.
After spending months of not having anyone able to provide a quote (closest installers for anything were over 200 miles away), I was suddenly contacted today about some loft insulation - they "offered" to fill in the paperwork on the GHGS website on my behalf which included their quote for £3000 of which I'd only need to pay £1000 of course...
(the full price for a similar job on most tradesman-checking websites was in the £300-£600 range).0 -
last response i got from customer@green-homes-grant.service.gov.uk was on 26th Feb that we are still looking at additional information you have submitted. Does not look good considering my application was from 1st Nov0

As many others have said in this thread you have to keep on at them - I've been ringing and/or emailing weekly. It's the only way to find out what's going on and to chivvy them along.zayn said:last response i got from customer@green-homes-grant.service.gov.uk was on 26th Feb that we are still looking at additional information you have submitted. No point in waiting a month or more and crossing your fingers. They don't tell you things unless you ask. I know that's the wrong way round, but that's how it is. And it's been clear for months that it's like this. Keep asking, don't wait for info..
Now they've set a deadline for new applications they might progress things more quickly - but I'd still keep contacting them. I've been chasing them again today.1 -
When you contacted them did you messsage them through their website or other means.Zanderman said:tek-monkey said:

I've been on at them most weeks, today I'd left it 10 days and apparently the note was put on my account ten days ago.Zanderman said:tek-monkey said:

I use the live chat, as it means I can do it while I work even if in a call.0
