Thanks do much for sharing your experiences.
We have just sent full application earlier this week after AIP being issued. Valuation booked for next week with esurv and required payslips uploaded into the system.
Does Halifax ask for a lot more information/documents after this?
Thanks so much
I was surprised at how little they required from me.
Thanks for your feedback. I am not self employed...
So far I have been asked for payslips only and not ID, so found that strange...
So was wondering if most peoples experience is the same? Only payslips?
Thanks1 -

Update: Spoke to Halifax this morning and was told that the payslips were approved and nothing else was necessary. Now just waiting for valuation. I'm amazed!0

Update - MB just called with good news the valuation was ok and he had the offer on email from Halifax. He was surprised how quick it was sent through as they are so busy, I guess its automated at this stage? Such a relief as we've already exchanged and moving in 7 weeks!!!!0

I am at week 5 with Halifax. Had my valuation done 2 weeks ago and all was fine, no more has been asked from me apart from the initial documents on week 1. Mortgage broker just keeps saying "there are delays for everyone" which is very frustrating because 2.5 weeks since valuation and nothing else being asked.. I don't know what the wait is really?0
