    +£15 a month
    700 minutes

Get 700 minutes to make calls to any landline number or mobile, day or night

    +£7 a month
    Pay as You Go

Each call costs 20p per minute, whether it’s to a landline number or a mobile, day or night

    No extra cost

    Thanks I'll try that tomorrow.
I presume that the Fibre 1 price showing is for PAYG even though it is £4 more than I pay now for weekend calls included (although I don't use the landline line for outgoing call anyway) but I'll see when I click through, I'll phone them if the price is not to my satisfaction. BT are already more expensive than Sky but I am willing to pay a BIT more as my line speed is good, stable and links well with my Sky box connection and mini boxes so don't want to risk disruption to that.

Checked my renewal offers on mybt today and Fibre 1 on PAYG is £6 less than I'm currently paying for Fibre 1 with weekend calls, so I went for that deal. I'm not sure if I misread the offers yesterday but I don't think so, maybe they reduce the prices when within a week of renewal?

£6/month ( £72 a year ) less  than what you were paying , and no potential cockups if you had switched provider is a good result , even if you don’t have included weekend calls anymore , as you never make calls , even at the weekend, that’s no real loss.

I received a letter from BT last Tuesday advising that my Fibre 1 minimum term was ending soon and to log in to check my "renewal offers".
Same Fibre 1, £2/month more  if renewed!
That was it, also £X/month extra for Halo etc.. Otherwise your price will increase by £8/month if you do nothing.
Looks like a phone call then, to their Options (or whatever they call it).

My contract is up on 7th January, I was sent a letter in early November saying that if I renew I can retain my BT Sports discount and save £19 on broadband, it didn't say what what the cost would be.
I had a second letter 2 weeks ago saying that if I don't renew my broadband the price for Fibre 1 + weekend calls would increase by £8 and 2 'selected' options of Fibre 2 with 700 mins calls at £6 more than now or Fibre 1, with Halo and 700 mins calls for £9 more. As I don't use the line for calls neither was right for me.
I went onto MyBT and clicked through my offers and 2 days ago Fibre 1 with PAYG calls was £4 more but yesterday I checked again and it was £6 less, so I clicked through and renewed for 24 months. I may have misread the offer from 2 days ago  but I don't think so!! It might be worth you checking the BT site as well?

"I checked again and it was £6 less, so I clicked through and renewed for 24 months."
There was no need for me to phone them!
I did exactly that, after reading your post, and the previous "offers" had indeed changed.
The same £6 less/month offer was there. Yes, 24 months which I'm not a fan of, but I have been happy with their service. Because I already have Line Rental Saver my Fibre 1 will be billed at £2.36/month.
That equates to £22.35 for line and Fibre 1 (£19.99 line - for now until it does increase when renewed).
I couldn't find a catch in the offer. It is scheduled to change on the 5th Jan..
Confirmed in my account and by e-mail.

I'm glad that you found the same as I did, seems strange that the offers improved the second time that we looked, I know that the BT sale is on but I think that it was already on when I first looked 3 days ago. Maybe they have some clever algorithm that improves the offers if you do not renew on the first visit?
I would prefer not to have a 24 month contract but like you I am happy with service so far (touchwood!)
