Happy birthday to Jazee, Mr Jazee and Poppet xx And a hug for Littleydog too xx
Oh - that turned into a manic few minutes. I was pegging out WM load 2 and enjoying the blue of the sky and being nearly landed on by a butterfly when Miss M arrived (a little early) with my delivery. So I abandoned the washing to unload my delivery. Then finished pegging out the washing before putting away the delivery. Oh poop, seriously overestimated the amount of room left in the freezer - mega game of freezer tetris ensued. All in except for pizzas which are in the fridge and will be eaten later when the ravenous hordes descend DS and GF arrive. Halfway through putting away the delivery my letterbox went so I had to hoppity skip to the front window to wave at Dad who had put the Sunday magazine through, then hoppity skip back and finish off. I am now very hot. Fan is on. Cook drink is being consumed. Oh I forgot to mention - as part of my 'me' day I had a pint of cloudy cider - cold from the fridge. A remnant from Chrimbo - thank you DS's GF
WM is swishing jeans as there is enough line left to peg them out. Life is a perpetual game of tetris isn't it?
I will sort out that paperwork when I stop sweating later.

oh for goodness sake - why is nothing ever straightforward!
Rant alert:
I wanted to check my state pension. To do that I have to log on to a government website. To do that I have to prove my identity. I've provided all I can through an app (get me!) - and it's not enough to prove I'm me - most probably because there isn't enough on my credit history / financial record. Well that would be because if I can't afford it I don't buy it. oh well, I might not live until 1st February 2027 anyway - and if I do my pension amount will be a surprise, pleasant or otherwise. I'm paying in to the work pension too. I'll survive, I always have. So much for trying to plan ahead. Disgruntled is me!
Rant over.
I'm going to bring in the towels /tea towels and peg out the next load of washing.
Mutter. Grumble. Complain

Hi all
DS and DH fishing for the day, so I decided that I was not slobbing about feeling sorry for myself so I took myself off to a local beauty spot for a 7.5 mile walk on my own (get me exploring the countryside on my own, I have never even done this walk before). Have found some veg lasagne in the freezer for my tea, have done a quick stretch session, off for a bath now.

Happy birthday to the Jazee family!
Thank you to the kind flylady who swapped my DH for the day - apparently he is fed up with seeing all the carp around, so has spent the day tidying out the garage, moving cs bags to the tidy garage pending their despatch when we can, and boxing up DD’s old bed for storage until it moves to it’s new home (already found, just need a house sale to go through). As DH is the main cause of carp in this house, today has been nothing short of a miracle. I will be sorry when the real DH returns and normal service is resumed, but thank you kindly for the temporary swap. Same time next week would be much appreciated....😉
Not a lot else done, apart from a small amount of garden tidying and avoiding idiot drivers on the roads when dropping off and picking up DD. Easy dinner to cook shortly, meal planning still needs to happen.8 -
Happy birthday jazee xx
Has anyone seen HONEYBEAR? If you're reading this hope you're okay love xx
Had a lovely 24 hours but of course what goes up must come down and I've been weepy all day. Been making myself fly to keep busy but I can't shake it, eaten rubbish which then makes me feel worse. The drain saga has started again, I need to get our water board involved, I'm going to write to them as I simply cannot face explaining it all on the phone and hoping that person is helpful.Sorry to be a drain on the mood. I'm sure I'll be better tomorrow. Love to all xx8 -
Hi, just popping in quickly to send you a hug ASB, think a lot of us are feeling a bit fragile at the minute, and you have been though a lot. Sorry to hear drain problems are still going on. You are not on your own love, hope the new week brings better things, see you on the new thread xx

Happy celebrations to all in the Jazee family!
asb - I was chatting to HoneyBear on Friday on FB. As far as I know, she's fine.
round - my shoulder is a little better, the range of movement is improving slowly, but every so often it catches me unawares and I could scream! I'm still waiting for a phonecall from the local physio team to which the physiotherapist from our GP surgery referred me a month ago.... Thank you for asking x
I have had a partially successful, partially washout day. It started well with finishing machining, turning and pressing 40 bunting triangles before breakfast, and went downhill from there. Dizzy, I am not going to offer to make your bunting for you!!! - but I do like the sound of a Kaffe Fassett design. Oh yes, and about the whey - if you Google you will find recipes for ricotta cheese made with yogurt whey. The only problem is that more whey is created in the process! My serious suggestion is that you should get a couple of pigs to add to your menagerie - my nephew kept two (Ping and Pong) on his smallholding in France and fed them all the kitchen leftovers.
Flying this week has consisted mainly of flingage. There is plenty more to be done, but I have emptied one section of shelving in the study bedroom cupboard which is to be demolished. Unfortunately I still have to sort through about 12 large lever arch files crammed with family history papers. And Fayolle, you might appreciate this: DH has been sorting the bookshelves in his mancave and thrown away three 2"-thick Polish railway timetable books from about 1995!!! What is up with these men?
See you all on the new thread. In the coming week I must actually clean something.
xx
