Kaz - moving is stressful...with all the additional stuff you've had to cope with no wonder you're stressed.
one maidenful of ironing was done. Washing had to be brought in due to rain. Maiden emptied and reloaded with Slightly damp towels in the hope that they'll dry. wM and DW locked and loaded.
went to hairdressers then town to pick up no 7 beauty bos, bought with points.
Went shopping as has no spaghetti for carbonara. Came back with YS chicken. Also froze surplus from 1.8 kilo l1dl pack.
v. Moist here so no watering tonight.

Morning all. Birthday get together here today. Only six of us in garden but I'm going to start cooking soon. Then some weeding. In normal times it would be dusting.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Morning xx
After Round 1 yesterday I had a 'me' day with Sweetie supervising. I was home alone and I felt lazy the need to recharge - so after coffee and cake for brunch I did....nothing flywise. I spent (far too much) time on fb and playing online games, then ordered in a pizza (just for me - it felt decadent) which I thoroughly enjoyed whilst watching Maleficent, then it was F1 qualifying, which, being a long-time McLaren fan was quite easy on the eye. Good to see the orange in Q3 :-) Then it was back online and in bed by 10. Weird dream about being on a never ending bus journey with Mum and other people that I know and others that I don't - I struggled(bigtime and embarrassingly) to step up on to the bus and couldn't fit in to the seats - that part of the message was received loud and clear thank you subc!
Oh I did order a Mr M delivery to be delivered today - I will not be caught out this winter if we are all plunged into another nightmare. I do need to write an inventory and get things sorted date wise though.
So today I am up, bed is made, WM is swishing towels / tea towels, the sun is shining and brew has been savoured.
Round 1 =
get washed and dressed
feed birds
put out rubbish / recycling
sort washing into loads
Mr M is delivering between 10 and 11. There are pots to be washed but not whilst the sun is on the kitchen window. DS and GF will return home at some point this afternoon - which I now find that I am a little uncomfortable about as they were partying in Leeds last night. I just have to hope that GF kept DS on a tight leash! And tbf they spend most of the time in DS's room - PS4, Disney+, and other delights in there. Bathroom vigilante will be ready with bleach!
kaz - you have dealt with so much this year and kept ploughing on. Now that things are settling you have time to process all the stress and upset: I liken it to dealing with the wave when it hits you, then getting caught by the undertow as the water recedes. It gets me every time and I used to think it was nuts, but that analogy helps me get my head round it. Be kind to yourself; cry if you need to or thump a cushion. And have a Roundtuit hug - it's a special one with fairy dust and rainbows intertwined.
In fact - Roundtuit hugs are being sent out to all my flylady friends - new and old. You've kept me (relatively) sane for years, and despite all the carp that you are going through yourselves you are unfailingly supportive and kind. I really do love you guys. Have a THANK YOU to go with the hug.

Thanks Ladies xxRight problem with curtains and pole seems to be sorted for now, kitchen roll, WD40, spray on kitchen roll, wipe carefully along the pole a couple of times, close and open curtains carefully a couple of times, and they now seem to open and close without all the tugging I have had to do. I have no idea how long it will last for, but I have a can of wd40 so I'll repeat when needed.Still struggling to get top of rads clean, but the plumber is due some day this week, so I'll ask him how to get the tops off. A few more days is neither nor there. The tiler is here and on time! (Sunday 8am) still he is doing a good job.OH has walked to get his hair cut, the blokes barbers is open at the end of the road, and he has had to wait 2 or 3 weeks to get an appointment, I expect a phone call to go and get him, as it has now started to chuck it down.So far I haven't done a lot, but yet more dust, so I am giving cleaning a miss today, plus I need to be the other end of the house from the tiler to SD.Have a good day xBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Good morning
Have a lovely day, Jazee. Is it happy returns to you?
I was woken up in the early hours by rain battering the window. Strangely comforting (much needed as we seem to have missed all the recently forecast rain) so I went back to sleep.
Up now, DW emptied from last night, wm running with DD’s bedding as we got the new bed built and made up yesterday afternoon. She has thieved my new duvet and cover from the newly decorated spare room, so that’s something else to go on the list. Ever feel like it’s a never ending merry go round that you would like to stop occasionally?
Not sure what else is on my list for today - I have promised DD that I will take her to small town to meet her friend today, and I need to sort out some dinner, and meal plan for the week. I also have some gifted veg plants to go in, but they might have to wait.
Kaz - take care, have a breezy walk across those beautiful cliff tops. You have been going at 100mph for so long, and we have been in awe of how you coped with the move and the setbacks. X
I had better get dressed, then look like I am doing something. Have a lovely Sunday all.10 -
Round 1 completed + filled the birdbath, pegged out towels / tea towels, set WM load 2 swishing and slurped brew 2.
Sun is still on the kitchen window so I'm going to sort out and file a pile of paperwork which is gathering. I'll take out and shred all the paperwork relating to Pip while I'm at it.
Oo, sounds like Load 2 is finishing - I'll peg that out first.
ionafan - how's your shoulder? xx

Morning ladies! I'm enjoying all the flylady hugs - feeling loved!
DH has gone scuba diving somewhere near Blackpool for the day and will be collecting some rare breed eggs on his way home, so I've been left home alone with the boys all day...wish me luck...
Goats, chickens, chicks and children fed and watered. Raspberry yoghurt made and now researching what to use the whey I strained off it for - does anyone have any ideas? It is strangely quiet here today - not sure if that's a good thing or not - all the animals seem chilled and the weather is sunny, so I'm enjoying it at the moment. I'm sure normal chaos will resume momentarily.
I'm planning on making some bunting to put up in the dining room to add a bit of fun (thanks for the inspo Iona) so have been looking for some interesting material online. I've found some I like by Kaffe Fassett who is an American artist, so now need to choose a design and colour...cup of tea needed...
DW x done - now need to unload and reload with all the dog bowls. Then I'll blitz the dining room, I think.
Big hugs for Kaz - take time now you're moved to relax and chill. Everything can wait - even flying...

I'm now sitting in the garden with a cuppa. It's a beautiful day. The weeds won't get done now this morning as I'm pretty sure my offspring can't tell the difference between those and flowers anyway. The celebrations are jointly for me, DH and Poppet who is four today.Spend less now, work less later.11
