Round 1 morphed. I skipped the brew, did the rest and then had coffee and cake for breakfast. It's the weekend. It's allowed.

Veg dealt with, dinner in sc (new to me recipe, so let’s see how that turns out. It will be dinner for 2 nights, so it has little choice but to be good!), leftovers eaten for lunch, washing hung on the small drier at the side of the house (why have I never done this before with a small load, as it is in the sun, is beyond me) DD is vacuuming her room. Let the bed dismantling /building begin.
I’ve just been catching up on a couple of other threads that I have followed for a while (not posted, as this is my only safe posting place 😊), and it is lovely to see a number of flylady friends popping up.8 -
Afternoon
Just stopped for lunch after a very productive morning...
office and bedroom both deep cleaned, including moving all furniture with DHs help and cleaning behind
bedding stripped and washed, now out on line
bathroom and en suite scrubbed, towels and bath mats changed
all bins emptied and washed
all windows inside on top floors cleaned
lounge cleaned, emptied and dismantled a cupboard that we are getting rid of, also a start on clearing the room to be decorated in a few weeks
both flights of stairs hoovered and all woodwork wiped down
we are stopped now for lunch and a well earned break, on to the ground floor rooms this afternoon.
take care all x9 -

Hi all, feeling very flat today. Kaz me too, there just doesnt seem to be anything to look forward to and I am so fed up of being at home on my own. Thanks for the kind words Fayolle, moving out of pediatrics suited DS, he was ready to be treated as an adult. Hope things are OK with DD.
Have sorted clean washing and done a few bits that needed ironing and had a general tidy around. Its windy and raining, we are supposed to be going cycling later as the weather is going to improve according to the forecast. Should really get the hoover out but having a brew first.10 -
Hello all, pouring with rain here too but I have spent some of the morning sorting plants in the greenhouse. I've also cleaned bathrooms, washed kitchen floor and done dailies which is an improvement on the last few days which were consumed by work and council meetings. Knitting now.Spend less now, work less later.8

Me again,
The whole house is done!Finished cleaning all downstairs windows
hoovered and dusted right through ground floor
emptied the dresser, cleaned it and polished the wood and glass thoroughly, it’s gleaming now and the room also smells lovely
kitchen thoroughly cleaned
conservatory, utility room and downstairs loo clean
all floors mopped
thats definitely me done for the day, feel really pleased that I accomplished so much though, realised that some areas have been a bit neglected recently, must try and keep it up now!Plan for the rest of the day is early supper, soak in the bath and then sit and read or might watch a film.
We are off out tomorrow, furniture shop round 2.Hugs to all in need xx9 -
Hiya, how is everyone? I've been crazy busy getting my business ready to open as we weren't given much notice we could open again. Got there though and starting working again 121 days after I closed. Crazy.
House is obviously suffering as a result so I will do some level 1's tomorrow to try and make it look like humans live here. Now I just need to find that balance between working and making the house nice. Easy right?
Hugs to everyone who needs them xx10 -
Well done Badcat great work! So the grand total of todays adventures has been taking some cardboard to the recycling. We were going to stop at the bakery on the way back for a cake but when we saw how many people were in town and how busy the car park was we just came home. It was like a bank holiday weekend.
Finance spreadsheets updated, Asd@ order done for next week. If I am really really careful I should be able to squeeze £350 out of this months budget to throw at the debts which is pretty good going for me! I will be glad when DS1 is contributing financially, he eats loads at the moment. Then again I am going to have to start putting diesel in the car again soon I think.10 -
Evening ladies! I've had another busy day, so not much actual flying done except the huge pile of ironing. I did mean to clean out the chick hutches in the static caravan, but my plans were pushed aside in favour of collecting a second large chest freezer and selling some chickens.
I did cook a roast dinner this afternoon, as DH is out scuba diving all day tomorrow, so Sunday can be a pizza tea day for me and the boys.
Floss went off to see the stud dog with DH this morning and he combined the two hour trip with collecting some more rare breed eggs...
Anyway, just need to move the freezer into the garage...I may be some time x10
